Story
Please meet Charlotte and Jackson! This bonded sibling set have experienced many hardships in their young lives, including being released into the streets by the shelter as a TNR even though they were not feral. A dedicated team of concerned citizens went searching for them and were able to eventually find the sibling group. Since then, Charlotte and Jackson have been in a Buddies Place foster home getting healthy and ready for adoption. The kittens are fully vetted and were born in April 2023. Charlotte is a beautiful, long haired cat with soft fur who has always been the most mature of the litter. She is playful but also can be more reserved. She likes to be held, will sit in your lap, and is the sweetest kitten. Jackson is a busy and lovable boy. He gives the loudest purrs and loves attention from his foster family. He is so happy to be loved. He likes all toys and can be a busy boy. Charlotte and Jackson get lonely when they are alone and would love to be adopted together. Story
Willy is a gorgeous 1 year old long haired male with a big fluffy tail. He’s very active and playful, though he also enjoys cuddle time with his foster mom. Willy gets along with other cats, but has a pretty dominant personality, so he would do best with mellow companions or as an only cat. Willy was very sick as a kitten with a disease called FIP, but after months of treatment he is a strong, healthy boy with a long life ahead of him. Story
Knox and Connery are best friends who were rescued after spending months living in a grocery store parking lot, dodging cars and begging for food. They are about a year and a half old and very attached to each other. Knox has an amazing long, silky, black coat. He’s very shy with new people, but once he warms up he loves to be petted and brushed. Connery is a very friendly orange tabby who loves everyone. He’s very affectionate and loves belly rubs. These sweet boys need a quiet home and patient humans to help Knox come out of his shell. Not only is he a good-looking handsome boy but he is a sweet, relaxed kitty with a gentle soul.  He would be an ideal kitty in a home that has a calm lifestyle.  He would be the perfect companion for a family who wants a gentle-natured, friendly kitty with good house manners. He loves attention. Shake the treat bag and he comes running. He likes to be petted while sitting on your lap and he starts to purrr away. He really enjoys his fluffy mane being brushed.  Fuzz Aldrin truly has a unique rescue story. He was found living at a DFW Airport terminal parking garage. We know he was living there fending for himself for at least several weeks, if not months. His rescuer successfully trapped him and found out he had a microchip. It was odd to find such a nice kitty living outdoors at the airport. The original owner on the microchip was contacted but told his rescuer that she had rehomed him a couple of years ago to an airport employee, because she ended up adopting a dog that didn’t like cats. The airport employee was contacted and he said he had rehomed the kitty a year later to ANOTHER airport employee because his housemate had a new baby. The 2nd airport employee adopter had mentioned they were moving to the east coast. When his rescuer called the 2nd airport employee adopter’s number…. the number didn’t work anymore. So his rescuer can only speculate that Fuzz Aldrin was sadly dumped at the airport by one of the airport employees.  But while this is initially a sad story… it’s also a wonderful story for Fuzz Aldrin, because he was rescued by the right hands. This time his rescuer/foster will make sure his adopters will be the loving, forever committed family that Fuzz Aldrin deserves. Fuzz Aldrin is about 5-6 years old, neutered, UTD rabies and fvrcp distemper vaccinated, dewormed, kept on monthly flea prevention, tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped. Adoption fee is $125.00 If interested in making this handsome and sweet natured boy a part of your family, please text or call his rescue friends at 817-937-5910 for more details.December 8, 2023, 11:05 pm

Story
Mandy was rescued along with her sister and both were pregnant. The plan was to let her go back outside after she was through nursing. She became this sweet and sassy cat there was no way she was going back outside. She would do well in a home with older kids or just adults. She is a quiet cat, does not seem to be afraid of crated dogs. She would of course like any cat, need time for adjustment. But once she is settled in, you will have a beautiful and sweet cat. She is fully vetted.
