Since being rescued as a kitten in 2023, he has been adopted twice and returned twice—all because he was not given the necessary time to adjust to a new home.While Skip is a friendly, smart, playful boy who lives for human interaction, his previous setbacks proved that Skip isn`t looking for any home—he`s looking for the RIGHT one.Skip is a wonderful, attentive cat who transforms into a gentle lap cat who loves kisses once he feels secure. She takes daily medication, eats strictly prescription food, and needs consistent cleaning and grooming to keep her healthy and comfortable. When she’s out and about in the house, she rocks an adorable baby diaper and onesie like the tiny queen she isIn addition to Manx syndrome, Maria also has hip dysplasia. As she grows, she may require FHO (femoral head ostectomy) surgery to keep her comfortable and mobile long-term. Our cats are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $250 plus transport fee (varies by location). This fee includes age appropriate, vaccinations, registered microchip, testing for FIV and FELV, and a fecal analysis. Cats will be spayed/neutered if over 6 months of age. Cats will also be current on prevention. A health exam will be completed, and a certificate will be issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.Note: MNS reserves the right to deny any application that is deemed unsuitable for the animal. Jay and his siblings were found outside of a lady’s home. The gal was determined to make sure these kids had a proper place to stay and were well cared for, so Classy Cats answered the call!Jay is quite playful and energetic. He will run up to the top of cat trees to scope out the best path (the one that looks like the most fun), and then he’s off to the races! When he’s not playing tag with his friends, he likes to bat around small toys and pretend he’s a jack in the box. Soon he’ll wander over to you for some easy conversation and gentle ear scritches.
