Story
Mr. Chill is our gorgeous solid grey and white long haired handsome, young boy that is a miracle cat.  A vet that Critter Cavalry Rescue works with, called about Mr. Chill who was brought in to their clinic with a badly broken leg that required surgery and a pin in his leg.  The senior couple could not afford the surgery and they were going to euthanize this handsome boy.  Critter Cavalry Rescue paid the $1,000 bill to fix his leg and save his life.  He was worth it !!!!  His regular name was Cloudy but we nicknamed him Mr. Chill.  He has been healing so nicely and getting friendlier and snuggly the past 3 weeks since we picked him up from the vet’s office after surgery.  He greets his foster mom at the door in the morning, ready for her to pick him up and hold him over her shoulder.  He wants lots of head scratches, please!  He has started walking on all four legs now, but he still travels with a slight limp in his giddy-up.  Thankfully all the nerves in his paw seem to be intact and we marvel at what a trouper he has been!  As you can see from his good looks , he is also a gentleman and has been so tolerant of the other younger and more energetic kitten in the cat room of the house.  He has never hurt her; he hasn’t even growled to ask her to please quiet down and behave.  He just embraces the fun.  Mr. Chill is all that and more….such gentle boy.  He is  destined to become a lap cat, not because he has to, but because he wants to.  Purring is guaranteed with his adoption and at no extra charge!   Please write to us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   May 1, 2024, 5:15 pm

Story
NICE TO MEET YOU, WHERE YOU BEEN? Introducing, everyone’s favorite celebrity couple, Taylor and Travis!  Like their namesakes, this adorable couple may not seem to be an obvious match, but IT’S A LOVE STORY, BABY, JUST SAY YES! ❤️ Taylor and Travis are both 8 months old, and began their young lives loutside before being rescued.    Taylor is a short hair girl, with gorgeously defined gray tabby stripes, the CLASSIC THING THAT YOU LIKE.  With her calm observant demeanor, Taylor could be considered A CARELESS MAN’S CAREFUL DAUGHTER as she tentatively explores new surroundings.  Taylor can’t mask her wide eyed curiosity, and her gentle inquisitive expressions will make you say OH MY GOD, LOOK AT THAT FACE.  A seeker of warm cozy spots, Taylor enjoys cuddles and curling up on laps.  When fully content and comfortable she’ll offer up her belly, IT’S DELICATE, and nuzzle you with her velvety tipped nose.  ALRIGHT, NAH!  Travis is a star in his own right, HE’S HANDSOME AS HELL, HE’S SO BAD, BUT HE DOES IT SO WELL!  Travis is adventurous, and athletic, a climber who likes to scale NEW HEIGHTS.  He’s THE FELLA OVER THERE WITH THE HELLA GOOD HAIR.  KillaTrav has THAT JAMES DEAN DAYDREAM LOOK in his eyes and a mischievous glint at times as he plays with anything he can get his paws on.  He CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP MOVIN. Taylor and Travis do not shy away from PDA, lavishing each other with kisses and long cuddle sessions, each of them seemingly saying YOU BELONG WITH ME.  Both offer their own unique approach to biscuit making - Taylor excitedly purrs and keeps a rhythmic beat, as if to say CAN’T STOP, WON’T STOP GROOVIN, IT’S LIKE I GOT THIS MUSIC IN MY MIND, while Travis’s fast pace and wide stance mimic high intensity pushups.   Taylor and Travis are equally affectionate with people, seeking head pets and ear scratches. If you believe that KARMA IS A CAT, PURRING IN YOUR LAP, CAUSE IT LOVES YOU - then you are in for lots of good karma with these two!   After spending the last few weeks getting ready, these two are TIRED OF WAITING, WONDERING IF YOU WERE EVER COMIN’ AROUND. They’re DREAMING ABOUT THE DAY WHEN YOU WAKE UP AND FIND THAT WHAT YOU’RE LOOKING FOR HAS BEEN HERE THE WHOLE TIME.  They’ve GOT A BLANK SPACE, BABY, just WRITE YOUR NAME on the adoption application.

Story
Ashton, or Ash for short is almost 8 years old (6.19.16). He was found abandoned and in rough shape as a 5 week old kitten, suffering from a severe URI, which is how he lost his left eye. He is a sweet cat who wants nothing more than to cuddle up next to you and snooze the day away. He is generally fond of other cats but has been bullying one of the other cats that he's been with his entire life the last few years with no resolution. He was checked by a vet - nothing found health wise. He would do well in a home with only 1 cat or no other cats. He's never been around dogs. He's been an indoor cat his entire life. He will also need someone who is familiar with long haired cats as they need to be brushed weekly. Ash is neutered, FIV/FeLV/HW negative, no health issues and up to date on all vaccines. (1.25.25).

Story
Rory is a beautiful cat that our family has loved for years. However, now that we have a toddler the stress has become too much for her. She isn't using her litter box and it's becoming an issue for her and us. We know she could be much happier with the right family. Rory is aloof but loving once she gets comfortable with you. She loves her cat tree and cuddling in bed. We are so sad to have to do this but are excited to find the right family.
