My name is Fluffy, and my life has been hard up until now. My original owners moved and abandoned me when they left. The next part of my life I found an elderly couple who would leave their door cracked open so I could have a warm place to go. They would feed me, but weren't able to pet me or give me much in the way of attention. Now I've made my way into a foster home at Murci's Mission and I'm hoping to find someone really special to spend the rest of my life with. I am estimated to be 8 years old. It probably won't come as a surprise that I can be pretty shy and get spooked easily. Once I know you, I can be pretty mellow. I will hide and hiss when you try to pet me, but then I purr. I am scared of dogs, so I'd prefer a home without them. My ideal adopter would be someone who is very patient, someone who understands what my life was like and that I will take time to warm up and trust you. Someone without expectation of how quickly I will feel comfortable, that can give me space while I decompress.  I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. My adoption fee is $50. He came to the Mission as a return when the stress of his prior adoption placement was causing him to pee outside his cat box.  At this time Gucci is once again faithfully using his cat box and he is an extremely affectionate and loving cat. Due to his propensity to soil in stressful circumstances, he is on a urinary health diet and he's seeking a quiet pet-free home, or a barn placement with a person who is willing to visit him frequently and give him lots of love. He does best without other pets or rowdy children.  Gucci comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50 and includes his medical records, and a bag of the food he eats.
