Story
Mercedes is about 10-11 years old. She is very sweet and loves chin scratches and petting. She does like kids, but probably older kids, my kids are younger so sometimes they're gentle and other times (especially younger ones) are not so gentle. Her fur is super soft when shes comfortable and not stressed. Im worried about her stress levels, as she used to get along with the other cat, but we’ve moved several times, and with less places to hide at our current house, shes no longer gets along with our other cat. I feel like she would thrive best and be most comfortable in a more quiet home where she could cuddle and be pet often in a peaceful house.

Story
Realized I've developed allergies to long haired kitties so I'm looking to rehome Zura. She's 6 months old litter box trained good with kids, people and other cats, has not been around dogs. She needs shots and I have an appointment to have her spayed on May 13th and I'd still be willing to keep in contact with new owner to pay for the service on that day. She is very pretty and very loving and sweet, really sad to see her go but I'm hoping someone else out there can give her a loving home

Story
My name is Fluffy, and my life has been hard up until now. My original owners moved and abandoned me when they left. The next part of my life I found an elderly couple who would leave their door cracked open so I could have a warm place to go. They would feed me, but weren't able to pet me or give me much in the way of attention. Now I've made my way into a foster home at Murci's Mission and I'm hoping to find someone really special to spend the rest of my life with. I am estimated to be 8 years old. It probably won't come as a surprise that I can be pretty shy and get spooked easily. Once I know you, I can be pretty mellow. I will hide and hiss when you try to pet me, but then I purr. I am scared of dogs, so I'd prefer a home without them. My ideal adopter would be someone who is very patient, someone who understands what my life was like and that I will take time to warm up and trust you. Someone without expectation of how quickly I will feel comfortable, that can give me space while I decompress.  I am spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed. My adoption fee is $50. I will come with a sample of my food and all of my medical records. Thank you for considering me! ##1880279##

Story
Ryan loves ALL people. Every human he meets is now his best friend. He’s affectionate, snuggly, and loves a comfy bed. He’s not so sure of other kitties yet, and has never been around dogs.  He’s adaptable and playful, and loves chasing the laser pointer!  One of his favorite pastimes is lounging in a cat tree, and looking outside at all of the birds.  He would be a fantastic apartment kitty, and would be great with just about any family! He has perfect litter box manners, and is a great eater. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped. His adoption fee is $100. Thanks for checking him out! ##1994538##

Story
Gucci is a large and affectionate black domestic long hair an estimated birthdate of 04/12/2022. He came to the Mission as a return when the stress of his prior adoption placement was causing him to pee outside his cat box.  At this time Gucci is once again faithfully using his cat box and he is an extremely affectionate and loving cat. Due to his propensity to soil in stressful circumstances, he is on a urinary health diet and he's seeking a quiet pet-free home, or a barn placement with a person who is willing to visit him frequently and give him lots of love. He does best without other pets or rowdy children.  Gucci comes neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and dewormed. His adoption fee is $50 and includes his medical records, and a bag of the food he eats. To be considered to adopt, please begin by visiting www.murcismission.org and sending in an application.  ##1416311##
