Story
Tiny's story is a sad one, she was dumped in rural Sun Prairie as a very young pregnant cat, she found her way to my neighbors barn where she had 4 kittens and lived for 5 years. He took very good care of her provided her food/water, shelter, care and warmth, along with the other cats. This past fall he past away and the barn was no longer a safe place. Tiny survived this past winter but barely by the time I found her she was in very bad shape, I brought her in to my home she was treated for pneumonia but it took a toll on her health. She is no longer able to be a barn cat. She was never a feral cat, she was someone's pet that they dumped. She deserves a loving home, and people who will adore her. I can not keep her as I have the other 6 barn cats that are all now in my care since my neighbor passed...I can not give her the care and attention she so deserves. She is just a doll and I want her to have a safe, warm, loving indoor home. she is litter trained and a very good girl.

Story
**I`m available for adoption as a Working Cat!**· Intake Reason: Caretaker moving, previously an outdoor cat· Socialization: Unsocialized to people· WCHS recommends I am an: Outdoor cat·I would like to go home with Shadoe & Slapjack.Working cats are the unsung heroes of the outdoor community. These outdoor-savvy cats thrive in environments where they can put their natural instincts to work. They excel at pest and disease control, helping keep rodents at bay, and they often form bonds with the people and animals who share their space.Adopting a working cat is simple and incredibly rewarding. Caretakers must provide the essentials-shelter, food, and water-and have a small temporary space, such as a large wire dog crate, to quarantine the cat for two weeks after adoption. This settling in period helps the cat learn that your property is home. All working cats come already spayed/neutered and vaccinated, and adoption fees are `name your own price.` If you`re looking for a natural pest control partner who brings a little extra life, your property, a working cat might be the perfect fit.If you`re interested in adopting me as an outdoor cat, please fill out an application online on the working cat page.

Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
8 years old (estimated) Spayed female Seems to be agitated by other cats in the shelter Lived with a dog and did well No known experience with children Requires regular grooming Has tested positive for FIV* Mika is a big, fluffy beauty with a sweet and gentle personality. She’s social and enjoys being around her people, though she may be a little tentative in new situations at first. Once she settles in, her relaxed and easygoing nature really shines. She enjoys being pet and loves being brushed, which is perfect for keeping her gorgeous coat looking its best. Mika also has a talkative side and will occasionally chat with you when she’s feeling social. While she's content doing her own thing most of the time, she always appreciates affection when it's offered. Mika has lived with dogs before and could be a bit shy around them at first, but with time and confidence, she would show her playful side once in a while. With a little patience as she adjusts, Mika will be a loving, calm companion who brings beauty, comfort, and lots of love to her new home. *Mika has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). It is not contagious to people or other species of pets. It is passed from cat to cat by deep bite wounds (like those inflicted during serious fights), blood transfusions, and rarely from mother cats to their kittens. Studies have shown that spayed/neutered and cat-friendly FIV+ cats can live with FIV- cats without risk of transmission. FIV suppresses the cat's immune system which makes it easier for them to get sick and harder for them to fight off sickness. When kept as well-cared for indoor pets, FIV+ cats often lead normal, healthy lives. Thanks to a generous sponsor Mika's adoption fee has already been paid!May 13, 2026, 5:49 pm
