Hey, I'm Cheese! I'm a sweet, floofy little woman ready to relax in a new home! I can be a little shy at first, but I warm up pretty quickly with chin and cheek pets. I'm a little confused by all the teeth I had removed, so you might see me licking my lips a lot - having just gums is a weird feeling! I do well living with other cats who are calm and give me my space. Pallas was rescued from an abandoned farm, but you'd never know it - she's sweet, affectionate, playful, and beautiful. She's quite outgoing even with strangers and gets along with other cats. She loves to play, or watch birds out the window, and insists on her share of pets and attention. We don't know her age, but she is as playful as a kitten. The veterinary estimate is 6 years old, but her fosters would put money on her being more like 2 years old. Pallas has long hair and beautiful coloring. Until recently, Silky had a good home with kitty friends she (mostly) got along well with and a loving owner. Then, her owner got sick and could no longer care for her, so now she needs a new home. Silky takes a while to warm up to new people; but she is affectionate, social, and active once she does. She wants to follow you around and when you sit down, she is eager to curl up on your lap. Silky could be the only cat in a home with adults and older children who know how to be gentle and respectful, but she also gets along well with kittens and mellow adult cats. She does not like cats who chase and pounce on her. She is also a dainty little lady who likes to eat slowly throughout the day, so she would do better if any other cats don't gobble up all the food before she has time to eat. Silky has beautiful long black/dark gray fur when her coat is fully grown. Unfortunately, she had to be shaved recently due to severe matting, so her fur is still growing out. She enjoys gentle, careful grooming. Silky is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
