Story
Meet Stevie! This beautiful, coal black cat is very affectionate and a total chatterbox! He loves getting pets, especially cheek scritches and will tell you all about his day while getting them! He has the softest long, silky coat that shines in the sunlight and is all about grooming time to keep it in tip top shape. He was surrendered to a rescue in OK when his owner developed dementia. He made his way up to Wisconsin with Misfits and is now looking for a new furever home. If you’re looking for a love bug who will tell you all about his day, Stevie is the kitty for you! This cat has tested positive for FeLV and needs to be adopted as a solo cat or into a home with another FeLV positive cat. FeLV is not transmitted across species. Cats who are positive for FeLV have a reduced immune system and are more susceptible to illness and disease.

Story
Mystery & Mayhem are a beautiful, bonded brother pair. They love to cuddle with their people, other cats, and dogs. They are also playful and typical orange tabbies - curious and into things. They do like to give little love nips, so although they are super friendly, we wouldn't recommend small children for that reason. Mystery & Mayhem come with an awkward third wheel - June! June came to his foster home as a shy cat and he bonded to Mystery & Mayhem. He can nearly always be found cuddled with one or both of the brothers. They don't seem to mind. We are hoping someone will have it in their hearts to adopt all three. Mystery & Mayhem are neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested FeLV/FIV negative.

Story
Gangsta is a beautiful girl with soft grey fur. Her unique name comes from her start in life on the streets. When her 3 litter mates were caught no one knew she existed until 4 days later we heard a large Owl hooting in the backyard and then a kitten crying. Luckily We found her before the owl, she was out on her own all alone for 4 nights. In order to survive on her own with no Momma and no siblings we said she must be a bit of a Gangsta to survive by herself that long. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application. Apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFR/Cat

Story
Lychee is a lively, playful boy with a serious passion for toys—especially anything filled with catnip. He’ll entertain himself (and you!) for ages chasing, kicking, and tossing his favorite mouse around like a pro. He’s also got a fun range of vocalizations—chirping excitedly while he plays, or letting out dramatic little whines if you stop moving his favorite toy too soon or if he’s bored and looking for something to do. While Lychee isn’t a snuggler, he does enjoy being near you. He’s the kind of cat who’ll lay down beside you or drape himself over your ankles just to be close. He may even crawl into your lap; however, he’s currently not often interested in pets or touch (in fact, you may get a swat or hiss if he suspects that’s where your hand is headed). With patience and respect, this will evolve over time — while this is currently his general preference, he does enjoy long petting and head scratch sessions from time to time. If you’re looking for a goofy, independent companion with playful energy, a big personality with a side of skepticism, and don’t mind that you may not get to get feel his silky coat as often as you’d like, then Lychee might just be your guy.
