Story
Looking for a best friend? Someone to talk to (he is a talker). Someone to keep your lap warm? We have the perfect cat for you. Bushy was found as a stray in Chicago. He came in a hot mess. A mouth of rotting teeth, fleas, horribly matted hair and a respiratory infection. Fast forward 2 months. All his teeth were pulled (you never have to pay for a dental!) He received a wonderful lions cut. URI is finally gone. He is fattening up. And I am seeing a happy playful kitty. He gets along with cats and dogs (actually wants to play with cats put they are being duds). He is going to have a gorgeous long coat and likes being brushed and is even easy with trimming his nails. He loves to be on your lap and wants all the belly rubs. He is a nervous guy at first and will need someone to be patient with him. But once he feels safe he will show you all the loves. Whoever adopts him is going to be very lucky.   Approximate DOB: 2015 Foster Home Location: Waukesha  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. We are a small, all-volunteer group and we are doing our best to work quickly! After the application is processed we will make arrangements for you to meet the cats that interest you. All of our cats and kittens are raised in our homes and live with us until they are adopted. They live with us as part of our families so we know them very well and we can help you find your perfect cat! Cats are rarely caged (only if its medically necessary) so you can visit with them and see how they act in a home.   Our adoption fees:  Kittens (under 6 months):  $150 (or 2 for $225 ) &#226&#128&#139 A dults (6 months to 7 years): $75 (or 2 for $100 ) Seniors (8  years and up): $40 (or 2 for $60 )   All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, dewormed, vaccinated for rabies (if age appropriate) and distemper, and microchipped. Story
Meet Sloppy Joe! He was rescued from a bad situation with his friend Manwich and is ready to start a new life. Although he’s a little nervous initially, Sloppy Joe is very food motivated and will risk it all for some yummy treats. He’s making up for lost time in the cuddling department and loves to give out enthusiastic headbutts and rub on your legs. His whole body quivers happily when you scratch his back. Sloppy Joe is learning how to play with the feather toy but is usually too focused on soaking up all the pets. He’s not sure about getting picked up yet but we could easily see him turning into a lap cat once he discovers that laps exist. We can’t wait to see his glow up in the perfect home!   Approximate DOB: 2018 Foster Home Location: Madison  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Meet Manwich! He was rescued from a bad situation with his friend Sloppy Joe and is ready to start a new life. Manwich is a shy guy at first until he gets to know you better. Treats help with winning him over, and once he’s feeling comfortable he loves getting his neck scratched. He comes out of his shell a little more each day and is even starting to show interest in some toys. Manwich prefers to hang out in his cozy corner where he knows that he’s safe, but is starting to think about venturing out more. He can get startled easily, so he would do best in a quiet home where he can settle in slowly. He’s already handsome, but Manwich is going to be extra gorgeous once his fur grows back—and he has a personality to match!   Approximate DOB: 2018 Foster Home Location: Madison  If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful cats or kittens, you can apply on our website: https://www.commcat.org/copy-of-adopt-a-bff   Please allow several days for us to process your application. Story
Easton and a group of other cats were rescued from an Indiana euthanasia list and came to SFTS to find themselves their forever homes. Easton is a handsome orange and white cat, with beautiful long fur. He loves to find the coziest places for his daily cat naps, and while he is awake he is very friendly and outgoing. Easton seems to get along well with other cats, and would do fine in a home with children. His adoption fee is $50 which includes them being neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at sftsrescue.org/adoptableanimals

Story
Lovie is really a lovie. She is a gentle soul and a real sweetheart. Lovie came from a farm, where was never handled or petted, but she had warm feelings towards people from the beginning. She likes pets and snuggling and being brushed - and loves Churu treats - but she is still a bit cautious with people. She is very playful and has so much fun with toys. Lovie is also the most amazing floof! She is part Maine Coon, and has a big, fluffy tail that she sometimes carries over back, the way a squirrel does. She grew up with many cats and would probably get along well in a household with other cats. Lovie is bonded with Jester, who may be her brother or half-brother. The perfect adopter for these two will have experience with cats, be empathetic and willing to patiently continue to help these kitties find their inner lap cat. Find more information and photos of Lovie and Jester at https://annasfosters.org/. Virtual visits can be arranged, and in-person meetings at the foster's home. Lovie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
