Story
Jiji has been an indoor cat since found as a kitten roaming the neighborhood. He’s a great cat that loves to cuddle but doesn’t love to be overly affectionate unless it’s on his terms. Give him a box and he'll take a nap in one 9/10 times. However, since my busier work schedule as preschool teacher means I’m hardly home and Jiji has developed some behavioral issues since. I went from a stay at home mom to working pretty quickly so the adjustment hasn’t been smooth with him. Mostly concerning is the litter box and using it to go pee in. I’ve tried my best to address the issues to no success. He currently lives with a dog and a rabbit but has shown territorial issues with other cats passing by the windows and will growl when spotted.

Story
Penny came to us full of mats and a little shy. She can hiss when she has had enough socialization for the day. We have been working to brush out the snarls and are hopeful that we can maintain her long hair. Penny really warms up to you after a few days and she loves to sneak under your arms and rub her face on yours. She is shy, and it does take a few days for her to warm up to you, but she is very tolerant of grooming. Apply to meet her today!

Story
Annie is a petite but bold 10-year-old not afraid to stand her ground. She is extremely loving and will stick close for pets/scratches/rubs but prefers not to be held. She has been living with three other cats and is the last one needing a new home, as the others have been adopted. She is a little traumatized by all the change and needs a patient, caring person to make her feel comfortable so she can show her true, beautiful colors again.

Story
Lucy: 9 yr old spayed female, $200 as bonded pair with brother Olaf Lucy and Olaf are a 9-year-old bonded brother and sister pair looking for a quiet home, as the only animals. Lucy is very vocal and will constantly demand pets and brushes from you once she warms up. She is patient and easygoing as long as she's the center of attention. Olaf is a much more sensitive gentle giant. He can be easily stressed by too much activity in the home, and is sometimes territorial with other cats that share his space. He gets easily spooked and will retreat to his safe space if frightened. This has led to occasional issues with both him and Lucy peeing outside the litterbox, which was the reason for their previous surrender, although this behavior stops when they aren't stressed. Olaf will seek you out for attention once he feels comfortable. He is highly food motivated and responds well to treats. Both Lucy and Olaf have an aggressive interest in human food, and will frequently try to involve themselves in your cooking process. Olaf has also been known to steal from unattended plates. The pair are long-haired and require regular brushing to prevent knots and maintain their coats. Getting brushed is one of Lucy's favorite activities (when she's in the mood). Olaf tolerates it very well when bribed with a tube of chicken puree. apply At cokittycoalition.com to meet them in Fort Collins! ##1645135##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Truffle is one of the most adorable kittens we have ever seen! Between her luxuriously fluffy coat, big yellow eyes, short legs, and ridiculously sweet personality, we don’t think she could get any cuter if she tried. Bonded to her equally sweet brother, Morel, these two are looking for a person who will never tire of petting them. Truffle’s favorite thing in the world is hanging out on the bed, floor, couch, etc. with her human while they pet her. Their reward, of course, is a lifetime supply of deep, rumbly purrs, gentle head bumps, and enthusiastic biscuits. Truffle loves to play, choosing an egalitarian approach when it comes to chasing human-operated toys with her brother, often allowing him the first several pounces and rounds of chase before stepping in for her fun. They also love to wrestle with each other. Their foster family often catches them jumping out of hiding places to scare each other and zooming off in a game of chase. We can’t state this enough: IT IS INSANELY ADORABLE. Also, like her brother, Truffle loves to make friends and gets along with most cats and dogs, if they are gentle and kind to her. In cases where a confrontation may occur, Truffle would rather run and hide than have to fight any day of the week. She is a devoted proponent of peace and harmony. Like most kittens, Truffle loves canned food, treats, and toys; happy to entertain herself and wait patiently during meal and snack times. This lovely, gentle soul, alongside her golden-hearted brother, are eagerly waiting for their human to show up and take them home. Our only question is this: What the heck are you waiting for? Apply to adopt them and prepare yourself for a lifetime of love and friendship with these adorable voidlings. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  At Laramie Animal Welfare Society, the first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website www.laramieanimals.org.
