Story
This handsome boy was trapped by well meaning people. They asked for us to help with him and he looked so pitiful that we could not turn him down. As it turns out, he must have been hit by a car because he has a broken pelvis. Doctors said it would heal on it's own. We just have to keep him quiet and confined which is so hard for a playful kitten. He purrs and loves his foster parents and soon will be able to play with the other kittens in the home. Doc says he may get arthritus where the break was when he gets older, otherwise he seems purrfectly healthy.  Merlyn needs and extra special, calm and loving home. Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $168. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Story
This precious little girl was found skin and bones and as fiesty as could be at only .97 pounds.  We had just had a very cold few days and we are not sure how she survived (we are guessing it was her attitude), but she did. She desperately needed groceries. Now she is perfectly healthy, very, very playful and loves to fall asleep in your lap. What a doll. She will do best with another kitten to play with.  Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. Kacey, Kansas, Kesha, Kloi, Kole and Krystal were rescued as weeks-old kittens. They are healthy, eating, playing and getting plenty of love in their foster home.  Krystal, a medium-haired tabby cats are often found within specific breeds known for luxurious coats, such as the Maine Coon, Siberian, American Bobtail, and Turkish Angora. These cats feature tabby markings—classic, mackerel, spotted, or ticked—over plush, mid-length fur, offering a "Goldilocks" coat that is less demanding than long hair but more affectionate to pet than short hair. Story
This guy is a big mosh he loves to be babied and spoiled! He is kind of needy it’s very cute to see a big cat act like a little kitten. He has a sweet personality and enjoys canned food as well as dry! He would love a screen porch if possible. Indoor kitties are safest . He was found dumped and needed vet care, all scuffed up . Rouse is a great companion and loves to look out a big window.
