Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  Little Mater made his first appearance in our foster homes back yard,  out of the blue. We think that someone actually put him over the back fence. It was quickly obvious that he had been with people. He's extremely friendly,  not skittish and very fond of other kitties. We are working on dogs as well. Mater has been tested and vaccinated. This cutie is ready for his forever home. Mater is a good all around pet for almost any family. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please read the bio of the rescue you are interested in to insure you are a match if you are a match the first step is to complete the online adoption application  JR, aka Johnny Rotten was just a pitiful,  tiny, sickly little kitten that was found on a road late last summer. He was between 4 and 5 weeks old and had ringworm. He was forced to spend a long period of time without any kitty companions when he really needed it. Then his bloodwork was troubling once he recovered from ringworm. After spending a lot of time and money on this little dude, he's bright,  happy,  playful and very well adjusted considering his rough start. He's great with cats and dogs and probably older kids too. He's purrfect.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. She was born to a feral mom, close to a major highway. We took her in and now she has blossomed into a beautiful  tiny girl. She's social and playful. She loves cats and kittens. Story
This kitten has just arrived! They have come to us on transport from a shelter partner, were found as stray, or surrendered to our care. When kittens arrive to us we are typically unsure of their full background, litter box habits, how they are with handling, or how much socialization with humans/animals they have received. Kittens require a significant amount of patience and training to learn how to behave properly in a home. The first few months of having a kitten is a critical time to improve socialization and help your kitten become confident. Exposing your kitten to all kinds of touch, sounds, people, and animals can ensure a well-socialized adult cat. Remember, kittens aren’t born knowing how to live in a human’s world, it is up to you to teach them how to make good decisions in a positive and caring manner. The more positive interactions they have in their first year of life will set them up for better behavior in the future. If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started.
