Story
Hi. Um. Hello. I’m Soot. I’m very shy, very reserved, and very good at disappearing into shadows. I won’t approach first, but I will watch you carefully from across the room and form deep, silent opinions. If I trust you (this may take months), I’m incredibly sweet, gentle, and loyal. Think “quiet poetry,” not “party girl.” Hobbies & Interests: Sitting nearby but not too nearby Being mistaken for a shadow, sweater, or void Soft blankets, softer voices Late-night zoomies (alone) Slow blinks (a big deal, actually) What I’m Looking For:A calm, patient soul who respects personal space and understands that love doesn’t have to be loud. You don’t need to pick me up or make sudden movements. Just sit quietly and let me come to you. Bonus points if you enjoy peaceful evenings and don’t mind being chosen eventually. Dealbreakers: Loud noises Rushing the vibe Assuming my silence means disinterest (it does not) Fun Fact:Once I trust you, I will be your cat. Exclusively. Forever. In a quiet way. Ideal First Date:You read a book. I sit six feet away. We pretend not to notice each other. It’s perfect. ##2433338##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Find your new feline friend! Meet Cindy! Characteristics: Affectionate, Gentle, Curious, Playful, Fun Health: Vaccinations and tests up to date, spayed, microchipped Good in a home with other cats. She does very well in a multi-cat home. She is still a bit shy with children, but does warm up after a few days.   Cindy is a 'community cat' who was rescued from a local feral cat colony and has been socialized in a foster home for 6 months. This means she can be a bit shy and cautious at first but is gentle and affectionate if you are patient and allow her to get to know you.   Cindy is a c urious, playful cat with a beautiful, sleek & extremely soft coat of black and white. She is still a bit shy, but once comfortable, will seek attention and pets. She loves running and  playing with her foster brothers and sisters. She also loves toys to bat around on the floor as well as the fishing pole type cat toys that she can chase around the hous e. She loves getting lots of attention with pets and head rubs.   This quiet but loveable young kitty is hoping to find a home that will understand her need for occasional quiet time as well as giving her plenty of attention during play time. She is looking for his loving, forever home.   .small {line-height:10px;} .big {line-height:200px;} Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 22, 2026, 4:15 pm

Story
Hi, I’m Jerny! I’m a beautiful 5-month-old kitten (I was born in late August 2025) with the softest fur and the sweetest little face (and yes I do have a little wink to my right eye but nothing is wrong with it.... my foster mom says it's just my "wink"). I’m a little shyer than my sister Jenga, but still very playful, curious, and love joining in on whatever fun is happening — especially if toys are involved! I enjoy exploring, chasing wand toys, and showing off my kitten zoomies, then settling down nearby when it’s time to relax. I have a gorgeous sister named Jenga, and she’s my favorite playmate. We grew up together, and having a built-in best friend makes life extra fun — so we’d love to be adopted as a pair if possible (double the cuteness, double the love!).  If you’re looking for a loving, playful kitten who’s ready to bring joy into your home, I’d love to meet you. I promise lots of purrs, laughs, and cuddles as I grow into my forever family.  Turn in your application today, and we'll be snuggling together before you know it! ##2526591##

Story
Hi there… my name is Indigo Jean.  I’m a young girl, and was born in late September 2025, with medium-haired beauty with soft fur, curious eyes, and a heart that’s sweet, loving and playful. I love exploring, playtime, and curling up in a cozy spot.  I do have something very special to tell you though…I have a sister named Ivory Mist, and she’s my very best friend. We’ve grown up side by side, learning everything together. When she’s near, I’m more confident, more relaxed, and very happy. If we could be adopted together, my little kitten heart would absolutely burst with joy. Adopting us both means double the love, double the purrs, and two built-in best friends who will keep each other company and fill your home with warmth, fluff, and happiness. If you’re looking for a gentle soul (or two!) to grow up with, I’d love to meet you—especially if my sister can come along too. Love, Indigo Jean. ##2574014##
