Story
Penny and PomPom are sisters. They were born Nov 1, 2023 in the woods behind an apartment complex in Ft Mitchell, Ky. A sweet lady was able to catch them when they were about 6-7 weeks old. They are now about 14 weeks old and our rescue was able to get them into our program. By mid March, they will be spayed, shots, dewormed, and blood tested. Our first choice is to get them adopted together into a forever home inside. But, if they don't want to be picked up or stay away from the foster, then we will be looking to vet them and clip their ear so they can be indoor/outdoor or barn type kitties. We may also consider adopting them out as single kitties but let's try pairs to start with. VIDEOS WILL BE COMING NEXT WEEK. Wags and Whiskers Rescue - Adoption fees are being waived BUT screening and approved application is a must. Contact Lexi Lambert at Fluffyfurmiliars@gmail.com or call 859.380.9045 and we will be happy to send you an application. Lexi Lambert

Story
Luna is so sweet once gaining trust with her owner. I got her about 3 years ago. My daughter and I worked really hard with her to get where she is. When first getting her she was so stressed, hissing, panting, attacking, running, even pooping on herslef. We did have other cats at the time so I'm sure this did not help. She never got used to the other cats as they would attack her. It took weeks before she would gain trust with us. Slowly she did tho.. I couldn't even per her at first. Now, she rubs on us and lays on us and wants petted at all times. She does not not typically do well with new people coming into home. She usually keeps to herself, if approached by a new person she may attack them, or may not.. she just does not trust easy. I need someone who can work with her. She is still a great cat, just needs that person who is willing to work with her.

Story
Did you know Fancy missed out on being the Fancy Feast model because she missed her audition? You can’t be this beautiful without your beauty rest, right? Ok so she may not have had an audition, but we all know if she had, she would have gotten the part! This beautiful girl is a diva through and through. She loves being swooned over and will make her presence known by following you around the house. When she is not napping, she can be found partying with sting. Fancy insists on a household that will allow her to be the star that she is. This means she will only share her household with calm, introverted inhabitants. Children are fine, once she adjusts, as long as they know to give her some space. Unfortunately, she has had one to many bad experiences with adult males after her previous owner passed away. This has resulted in some major trust issues with men, and we believe she may do best in a household without them. She would make an excellent companion for someone who needs to fill that empty void in their heart.   Adoption Process: Step 1 :     Complete a "no obligation" application located on our website at pawprintsnky.com under the applications tab.  Adopters must live within 100 miles of Florence, KY. Step 2:     PawPrints will review the application, verifying Vet and personal references as well as landlord requirements/restrictions (if applicable) Step 3:     IF your application is approved, we will call you to schedule a meet and greet for you to meet the pet. Step 4:    If the meet and greet goes well, we will schedule the home visit. February 23, 2024, 12:05 am
