Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Just a little younger than his foster siblings, Basil is the perfect mix of playful energy and heart-melting affection. Raised as a bottle baby from day one, he’s a total momma’s boy with a deep bond to his humans—and a serious talent for stealing hearts. Basil is always up for a game or kitten adventure, but when it’s time to wind down, he’s looking for love. His favorite spot? Perched on his foster mom’s shoulder while she works—keeping an eye on everything and soaking up all the attention. He’s also had some positive interactions with dogs and is handling them like a champ, making him a great candidate for a home with a respectful pup. And did we mention the bedhead? Basil rocked the most adorable messy fur for weeks, and though it’s finally smoothed out, the cuteness is definitely here to stay. &#239&#187&#191 If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who loves snuggles, shoulder rides, and would be happy in a multi-species household, Basil is your guy!  I am a Feline Leukemia positive kitty, so I'm only supposed to hang out with other feline leukemia kitties like me or ones that are vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. Feline Leukemia also means that I will most likely have a shorter life span than most cats, but I will be your best friend for all of it!  Estimated DOB:  3/19/2025 The adoption fee is waived, and we will cover any veterinary expenses related to feline leukemia for the lifetime of the cat.   Adoption fee: waived but donations always appreciated.  We would love to hear from you! To inquire about this cat, please contact us via this site, visit our website sc4paws.org to see a full bio, or visit sc4paws.rescuegroups.org/forms/ to fill out our adoption application. Important: Our cats reside in foster homes. Please fill out our adoption application if you would like to meet one of these special kitties! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi! I'm Inez. I'm a beautiful medium-haired black kitten with the heart of a panther and the swagger to match. I move with quiet confidence, always alert, always in control. I’ll let you pet me on my terms, but don’t expect cuddles or lap naps. I’m not big on affection, and I prefer to keep my independence. I think I'd love a nice barn to patrol! I could probably acclimate to an indoor home with someone who appreciates a low-maintenance, look but don't touch, kind of companion. I’m not cold hearted, I’m just a mini panther and wild at heart. If I sound like your kind of girl, call Woodford Humane Society (859.873.5491) to schedule an appointment or if you have any other questions!

Story
Meet Nelson, Netty, and Nancy — the Wobble Squad, the Tip-Toe Trio, the “Gravity? Never Heard of Her” litter. These babies have CH (Cerebellar Hypoplasia), which basically means their bodies said, “Coordination? Optional.” They wobble. They wiggle. They occasionally face-plant with zero shame. Graceful? Absolutely not. Adorable? 1000%. They’re healthy, happy, and overflowing with love. Look at them? They purr. Touch them? They melt. Try to walk away? They follow like drunk little penguins on a mission. What they lack in balance, they make up for in personality, sweetness, and pure comedic timing. Daily entertainment included at no extra charge. Little Info about CH Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH) is a non-contagious neurological condition that makes cats a little… wobbly. Because their cerebellum didn’t fully develop (often due to mom having panleukopenia, poor nutrition, or trauma during pregnancy), CH cats may walk like tiny drunk toddlers, wobble, tremor, or take the scenic route to standing upright. The good news? It doesn’t get worse, it doesn’t cause pain, and these cats can live long, happy lives with a few simple home tweaks—like rugs for traction, ramps, raised bowls, supportive litter boxes, keeping nails trimmed, and some bumpers on the corners of the house. *They do not have to be adopted together*

Story
Bella is a loving, friendly cat, even with dogs. She is beautiful tiger striped cat that loves to rub up against you and to be petted. She will sit on your lap for short periods of time but otherwise will always be near you. The owner needs to rehome Bella due to family caretaker responsibilities that have become more demanding recently.
