Story
Meet me—Olympic, the fluffy tabby mom who has proudly raised her kittens and is finally ready for a soft, peaceful life of my own. I’m the kind of cat who leans in for affection, purrs the moment you look my way, and happily fills any quiet moment with warmth. After giving my little ones the best start, I’m dreaming of a forever home where I can be the one who’s doted on for a change. If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion with a big heart and an even bigger fluff factor, I just might be your girl. Give my friends at the Adoption Center a call at 859-873-5491 to find out more about me or to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Story
Hi! I'm Inez. I'm a beautiful medium-haired black kitten with the heart of a panther and the swagger to match. I move with quiet confidence, always alert, always in control. I’ll let you pet me on my terms, but don’t expect cuddles or lap naps. I’m not big on affection, and I prefer to keep my independence. I think I'd love a nice barn to patrol! I could probably acclimate to an indoor home with someone who appreciates a low-maintenance, look but don't touch, kind of companion. I’m not cold hearted, I’m just a mini panther and wild at heart. If I sound like your kind of girl, call Woodford Humane Society (859.873.5491) to schedule an appointment or if you have any other questions!

Story
I’m Jersey, a gentle senior lady with long, silky fur and a heart that just wants a peaceful place to call home. I’ve been declawed, so I’m all about soft blankets, cozy corners, and calm company. I’m a sweet, affectionate soul who enjoys quiet moments, slow pets, and simply being near someone who appreciates a low‑key companion. Loud noises and busy environments aren’t really my style anymore—I’m happiest in a serene home where I can relax, purr, and spend my golden years feeling safe and loved. If you’re looking for a mellow friend who will bring warmth without the chaos, I might be the perfect match. Give my friends at the Adoption Center a call at 859-873-5491 to find out more about me or to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meowllo, potential adopter! My name is Prima Ballerina, and I answer to Ballerina. As my name implies, I am a divine diva and have certain expectations of my new family. Since I have been raised for most of my kittenhood in a cage, due to my many ear infections, I am just learning to socialize with other cats and people appropriately. My foster mom says I have graduated from fairly feral to a love bug in training with an occasional kitten spicy side. My foster sisters are adults. The older sister runs from me, and I like to chase her to hear her squall. It’s so funny! The younger sister stands her ground and occasionally gives me a hiss and corrective smack to let me know I’m being way toooo much. She’s my favorite; I want her to love me, so I always return for more lessons. I very much like the little human who lives in this house and all the toys she throws my way, especially anything with feathers that I can pretend to kill and carry to my condo. I may be only five and one half pounds, but I am fierce! Therefore, any potential human siblings need to be at least five years old or understand my tail is not for pulling. My foster mom says I’m getting better with my bed manners too; although, I still like to play in her hair at 5:30AM to let her know I’m ready for my breakfast. After breakfast, I arabesque chasse, pirouette, releve, grand jete, and flick flack (look it up; it’s one of the most difficult moves, and I have mastered it!) all over the house until lunchtime. If I haven’t intimidated you yet, I need to discuss my dietary needs. To help prevent future ear infections, I’ll need to be fed a probiotic mixed in with my chicken byproduct free foods. I require wet food twice a day and mostly smack my dry food around to watch it roll, but it’s still appreciated occasionally. If you are deemed worthy enough to adopt me, a list of what I’ve been eating in foster care will be provided. It isn’t the most expensive stuff, but it isn’t the cheapest either. I’ll need you to continue flushing my ears once a week with the enzymatic solution the vet prescribed for me as well. I know, I’m a lot; however, I give so much in return. You will never tire of my athletic antics, beautiful fur, or my sweet side when I snuggle in close at bedtime. I am happiest when my human assistant is nearby and paying me my deserved attention. I don’t like to discuss bathroom etiquette, but, if you must know, I’m perfectly content with any type of litter you provide. I often practice my stretches and kicks while in the litter box, so you may want to procure one with tall sides or a cover.Besides being graceful, I am quick and curious, and I like to attempt escape to the outdoors when I see my foster family headed to the front and back doors. So you may need to throw a toy the other direction to distract me when you need to leave the house.  If you have further questions, my assistant will be happy to screen them for me. Have a purrfect day! Estimated DOB:   08/04/2025 Adoption fee: $ 130 (6% KY sales tax included)  We would love to hear from you! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Just a little younger than his foster siblings, Basil is the perfect mix of playful energy and heart-melting affection. Raised as a bottle baby from day one, he’s a total momma’s boy with a deep bond to his humans—and a serious talent for stealing hearts. Basil is always up for a game or kitten adventure, but when it’s time to wind down, he’s looking for love. His favorite spot? Perched on his foster mom’s shoulder while she works—keeping an eye on everything and soaking up all the attention. He’s also had some positive interactions with dogs and is handling them like a champ, making him a great candidate for a home with a respectful pup. And did we mention the bedhead? Basil rocked the most adorable messy fur for weeks, and though it’s finally smoothed out, the cuteness is definitely here to stay. &#239&#187&#191 If you're looking for a playful, affectionate kitten who loves snuggles, shoulder rides, and would be happy in a multi-species household, Basil is your guy!  I am a Feline Leukemia positive kitty, so I'm only supposed to hang out with other feline leukemia kitties like me or ones that are vaccinated for Feline Leukemia. Feline Leukemia also means that I will most likely have a shorter life span than most cats, but I will be your best friend for all of it!  Estimated DOB:  3/19/2025 The adoption fee is waived, and we will cover any veterinary expenses related to feline leukemia for the lifetime of the cat.   Adoption fee: waived but donations always appreciated.  We would love to hear from you!
