Story
Linus is a big, cuddly sweetie! He and his sister, Ramona, have been together since birth, and are a bonded pair. Their mom is a short haired domestic tabby, and their father was a feral cat who we suspect was part Maine Coon, because these cats are gentle giants, with a mix of long and short hair that is super soft! My family raised them both, and they were my mom’s cats for their first five years until she passed away. Then they came to live with me and my husband. He had mild allergies to cats when we adopted them in 2018; unfortunately, since then, his allergies have worsened dramatically, and his quality of life is significantly impacted, and it’s for this reason we need to re-home them. Honestly we love these cats, they have wonderful temperaments, and are very well-behaved. They are super gentle and patient with our son, and they never go potty outside the litter box. We want to find them a great home! They love cuddles.

Story
Ramona and her brother Linus are a bonded pair, so they come as a big, fluffy package! Both are 11 years old, friendly, chill and well-behaved. Occasionally they squabble as siblings will do, but they also cuddle and clean each other’s faces! Linus is a big, sweet snuggly guy! He will cuddle you all day! Ramona has adorable white markings and lots of super soft hair. She loves belly rubs! We think these guys are part Maine Coon due to their long hair, large size, and friendly personalities. Maine Coons are known as gentle giants, and these guys absolutely fit that description! These amazing cats are in need of a new home due to my husband’s allergies, which have worsened significantly since we adopted them in 2018. (Previously, they were my mom’s cats, until she passed away). They are very gentle with our son, and they NEVER go potty outside the litter box! We are hoping to find them a home where they can stay together and get lots of cuddles from owners without allergies!

Story
Ramona is a sweet and cuddly girl, age 11, who loves belly rubs and has the softest fur in the world! My husband is allergic to cats, and his symptoms have unfortunately gotten worse with time. I’ve known and loved Ramona since the day she was born, along with her brother, Linus. Both cats belonged to my mom. When my mom passed away in 2018, I took the cats and they have lived with me since then. The only health issue that either of them has had are tooth extractions. Otherwise in good health. They are gentle giants! We think they may have some Maine Coon in them, because they are huge, fluffy, and friendly. I would love to find them a good home so both they and my husband can be happy and healthy. Thanks for considering!

Story
Bella is a sweet girl, but unfortunately isn’t a good fit with our busy schedule. She needs more attention than we are able to give her. She is great with our other cat, and does well with kids. She LOVES attention and playing. Would do well in a home with a family or individual who is home a lot and can give her the time and attention she needs. We really do love her, but just cannot give her the level of attention the playful Siamese in her requires. She loves toys especially balls and anything else she can chase (you can entertain her with a laser pointer for hours), widow perch/beds & vertical scratching surfaces.

Story
Marshmallow is a big friendly boy! He loves everyone and has the loudest purr. 💙He doesn’t seem to be bothered by respectful dogs or other cats. Marshmallow seems to be an older man- guessing between 5-7. He loves to lounge on his pillow and look out the window but I have gotten him to bat at a feather a few times. Marshmallow would do well in any home with a soft place to sleep. Please check out our adoption process & on-line application here: https://www.newhopepetrescue.com/Adoption Fee for dogs cover the following vetting:1. Story
We acquired Maku over a year ago from a coworker when he was a kitten. He has always been very affectionate with our children. He has gotten along with other cats he has been around. He has tolerated our puppy and has even played with him on occasion. He is very affectionate, calm, and loves playing with string and toys. If he goes to a home with other cats, he needs his own litter box because he doesn’t like sharing a litter box.

Story
Callie O’Malley is a little sweetheart Torbie girl with white socks and gorgeous markings. Her fur is thick and silky and oh so soft.  Callie is a very gentle, loving kitty who enjoys snuggling and purring loudly.  She is one of a bonded pair with her calico sister, Athena.  Callie is a quiet, shy introvert who prefers being a homebody with her sister and her people. She has a tendancy to hide from new people and strange noises. She loves to greet her human with affection by rubbing against their legs until she gets picked up for kissies and hugs. She is the first kitty to come and curl up beside her person. She comes when called and she's learning to be around her foster mother's dogs. She is a very special girl. She plays chase with other kitties and enjoys catching wand toys.  Callie is very good about getting her nails trimmed or taking medicine and being at the vet. She is sweet sweet sweet.  Callie has a tender spirit and her road to rescue was frightening at times but she continues every day to show more confidence. She is a very loyal kitty.   She is learning to get along with her foster mother's dogs and she gets along well with other cats. She will be one year old in the end of May.     ##1826370##
