Story
Calliope is a stunning 9-month-old male long-haired kitty with a beautiful Van pattern. He has faced many challenges in his young life, including witnessing a tragic event among his siblings resulting in his being trapped almost two months later than some of them and in a new location. After being spotted with another group of kittens, likely his nieces and nephews, Calliope stayed fearful while they quickly socialized and found loving homes. As the other kittens were adopted, Calliope grew lonely and slowly started to see humans in a more positive light. At first, he would hiss when his foster mom entered the room, but with patience, playtime, and tasty treats, he began to warm up. Due to his fearful nature, we suspect Calliope has experienced or witnessed abuse from humans in his short life. He requires a patient and quiet home, free from loud noises and young children. Calliope adores his cat tree, loves watching the world from the window, and enjoys the company of other cats once he gets to know them. His fluffy coat is incredibly soft, and he has a charming checkerboard pattern on his head, an incredibly expressive floofy black tail, and a striking black spot on his side. Are you the kind-hearted person ready to give Calliope the loving, patient home he deserves? If so, please reach out to us at adoptions@savedbyzade.com!

Story
This kitty would do best in a quieter home without young children. 🐾 WELCOME HOME! 🐾 Bringing Your New Kitty Home: What to Expect Thank you for adopting and giving this kitty a second chance! Here’s what you need to know for a smooth transition: 🛏 Start Small Set your cat up in one quiet room with a litter box, food, water, and a hiding spot (like a covered bed or cardboard box). Let them explore slowly and on their terms. ⏳ Give Time Even the friendliest cats may be shy at first. Expect 3 days to decompress, 3 weeks to settle in, and up to 3 months to fully adjust. Be patient—they're learning to trust! It’s normal for cats to hide for the first 24–72 hours. Adult cats, especially, may take even longer to feel safe. As long as they’re eating, drinking, and using the litter box, hiding is okay! 🍽 Feed & Hydrate Keep food and water dishes in a quiet, accessible spot. Follow any diet info provided. Monitor eating, drinking, and litter box habits the first few days. 🚽 Litter Box Basics Show them where the box is right away. Keep it clean and use unscented, clumping litter unless otherwise noted. 🐱 Interactions Let your cat come to you. Avoid loud noises or too much handling early on. Use gentle voices and slow blinks to build trust. 🐕 Introducing to Other Pets? Slow and steady wins the race! Keep your new kitty separated at first and take your time with introductions. 🧸 Playtime & Enrichment Interactive toys, scratching posts, and window views help relieve stress and build confidence. Story
I am moving and I need to place my 2 cats Mickey is one he is about 6.5 years old and fixed. He get along fine with my one cat but the other cat that is his sibling (Minnie) not soo much you can see from the boo boo she gave him. He is an inside cat only. Once he gets to know you can be very lovable. He did get shot when he got fixed only. I do not know how well he would be with dogs, other cats or kids or traveling as he has not experienced only other cats which he is fine with. Please choose Mickey he can be such a good loving cat for you.

Story
Louis is 3 years old and is part domestic medium hair and part maine coon. I adopted him when he was just 6 weeks old from a cat shelter. As a kitten, louis loved to play and spend time with me and was very affectionate. He was never really a social cat though, he loves whoever is taking care of him and shows them affection. Once I started getting busy with work and travel, I found it more difficult to allocate time for him and I started seeing signs of loneliness. Louis is currently on Fluoxetine as my vet recommended it due to him developing anxiety issues most likely due to being alone for large portions of the day. I would love an experienced adopter or someone who is well versed with taking care of cats of this situation. He has been such an important part of my life but at this point I do want what is best for him to live a happier rest of his life :)
