Story
Hi, I’m Crunch. I’m a sweet and loving boy who likes to cuddle. I’m really playful and I love a good laser pointer session or game of chase. I like to climb so a cat tree is nice too! I get along with other cats but I can be shy with strangers right away. I’m great with kids and have let many a small kid carry me around-I’ve never been known to swipe or hiss.

Story
Duke is a 6-month-old, medium-haired kitten with a story of quiet resilience. He came from a local Trap, Neuter, and Release program and was completely wild when he was first caught. Thanks to the incredible patience and dedication of his foster over the past couple of months, Duke has made huge progress and is now ready to find his forever home. Duke is shy and gentle, and he does best in a calm, low-key environment. He may not ever be a lap cat, but he doesn’t need to be to be special. He’s the kind of companion who will share your space, watch the world from a cozy spot nearby, and bring a peaceful presence into your home. One thing Duke absolutely loves is other cats. He gains confidence from them and would thrive in a home with friendly feline companions to help show him the ropes. If you’re looking for a quiet companion and have the patience to let Duke continue blossoming at his own pace, he could be the perfect addition to your home. Sometimes the most rewarding relationships are the ones that grow slowly. You can apply to adopt him here: www.tinyurl.com/AAOAdopt ***All of our adoptable cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, vaccinated for their age and size for rabies and FVRCP, dewormed, flea-free/treated, and Microchipped with w/registration included to you post adoption. You will receive vet records via email after the adoption to provide to your vet.

Story
Meet Princess Sparkledust! She is an 8-year-old, medium-haired tortoiseshell beauty with a name as charming as her personality. She came to us when her previous family had to move and couldn’t take her along, and she’s handled the transition with grace. While in foster care, she showed everyone just how sweet she is—using the litter box perfectly, happily eating any food offered, and filling the house with her gentle, talkative commentary. She did meet another cat in foster, and while neither was thrilled, she’ll likely do best with a slow, thoughtful introduction if there’s another feline in the home. This lovely senior lady is on the lower-energy side and would much rather curl up next to you than chase toys around the house. Princess Sparkledust is affectionate, snuggly, and truly shines as a lap companion. If you’re looking for a calm, loving cat who enjoys conversation, cozy naps, and close companionship, Princess may be the perfect addition to your home. She is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventatives. If you have further questions, please call the shelter at (517) 626-6060 or email our adoption staff at adoptions@AdoptLansing.org.

He get along fine with my one cat but the other cat that is his sibling (Minnie) not soo much you can see from the boo boo she gave him. He is an inside cat only. Once he gets to know you can be very lovable. He did get shot when he got fixed only. I do not know how well he would be with dogs, other cats or kids or traveling as he has not experienced only other cats which he is fine with. Please choose Mickey he can be such a good loving cat for you.

Story
Name: Mustachio Male DMH Brown Tabby Estimated DOB: 10/08/2015 About: Mustachio is the sweetest old gent with the cutest croaky meow. He LOVES pets and wet food....wet food most of all! He will SHOVE you out of the way to get his wet food and, if your not getting it fast enough, will meow repeatedly until you do! Backstory: This guy came from the Newaygo area and had been living outside for a few years after getting kicked out of his home when his family moved. The neighbors all fed and took care of him but a few months ago, he came back with a large, gaping wound on his neck. The neighbors loved him so that they asked us to take him in and help him heal. His neck wound is almost healed up. We did bloodwork and that was pretty good for an older guy! The vet said his teeth look good but we're going to have another look to make sure as many older cats need dental care. Location: Happy Cat Cafe Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption. Story
Hi-C Male orange tabby DSH Approximately 7 years old Hi-C came into rescue when his owner went into hospice care. Hi-C was a neighborhood cat that started visiting his owner around 5 years ago for food, love, and a warm place to sleep in the winters. Hi-C spent most of his time outside but made sure to come back home for meal time every day. Since going into foster, Hi-C has started getting used to the indoor only life. We still catch him sitting in front of the windows enjoying watching the outdoors, but he has become very fond of his warm cozy spot on the couch. He is a sweet cat who goes crazy for his cat treats. He spends most of his day lounging around and gladly accepting pets. Location: If you'd like to meet him, he's currently in residence at the Happy Cat Cafe. Visit www.happycatgr.com for more information. Hi-C will have a dental cleaning/any necessary extractions sometime in January. He can still go to his forever home while he is waiting for this appointment. Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and dewormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.
