Story
Hi, meet Black Jack, an affectionate, healthy, and playful boy, who's also a bit of a chonk. Hey! Cats are like humans, we come in all sizes, so no body shaming :) He is a true lap cat and a great companion. Black Jack also has a brother, Trouble. They get along fine but are not closely bonded. They can be adopted together or separately. If you live on a ground floor, I can give you a catio; Black Jack likes to go out in his catio and watch the birds and sniff the fresh air.

Story
Hi I am Novi! I am a cat on the go, all the time! Because I am such an active and playful cat I have to make sure that any adopter understands that I will need to play – more than the average kitty! I love to play but I can be sensitive when it gets to be too much, I may do best in a home without young children or other cats. I will also need proper socialization to learn appropriate play style! Come meet me today!

Story
Hi my name is Bear! I am a shy cat looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who likes the calmer side of life.I am currently under the care of the shelter medical team at HSHV. If you would like to learn more about me, please reach out to the Adoption Desk at (734) 662-5585.

Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. I will need a home without other animals or children under 5 due to struggling previously in a more busy home. The best things in life come to those who wait, and I might be the one to prove that saying true! Come meet me at the shelter soon.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Asha. Asha came into rescue as a kitten dragging her back legs. She had received trauma to her back, it was actually fractured, infected and swelling. This was causing loss of use to her back legs. But after antibiotics and cage rest, she healed up. She has a little goofiness to her walk in a back leg but she gets around fine. She runs, plays and acts like any other cat. Older kids are recommended for her. She lives with other cats and dogs. She meets new cats and kittens and it can take her while to warm up, but she will keep her distance until she befriends them. She can be a talker, is super soft and loves attention. Asha is fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $100. But for the month of September her fee is reduced to $50  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate November 4, 2024, 11:56 am

Story
Hope has been suffering in a family who is not caring for her. She was fine for the first year but since then she's not being cared for or fed well. She's relinquished to one room and that is no life for a kitty. Only one family member visits her. She is friendly, needs to be the only pet in the house. This is mostly due to having to live in a house with so many other animals She has a double medium coat. She's a Torbie. We are looking for a non smoking home, indoor only, no little kids. She needs some spoiling and she's a great companion. For more information call 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com
