Story
A note from the foster:`Turn Up is such a sweet kitten. When I first got her, she was very shy and took a couple of days to warm up to me. But now, she is so comfortable with me and runs around crazily and has non-stop energy! She does not have a mean bone in her and loves to curl up next to me once she gets all her energy out. I really have no complaints about her at all and have thoroughly enjoyed taking care of her!`Turn Up is Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive. FeLV is contagious to other cats (but not contagious to people or other species of animals). It may cause a shortened lifespan but FeLV cats have so much fun and love to give. Please call or come in to find out more.Turn Up is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call (734)662-5585 to arrange a meeting today!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Asha. Asha came into rescue as a kitten dragging her back legs. She had received trauma to her back, it was actually fractured, infected and swelling. This was causing loss of use to her back legs. But after antibiotics and cage rest, she healed up. She has a little goofiness to her walk in a back leg but she gets around fine. She runs, plays and acts like any other cat. Older kids are recommended for her. She lives with other cats and dogs. She meets new cats and kittens and it can take her while to warm up, but she will keep her distance until she befriends them. She can be a talker, is super soft and loves attention. Asha is fully vaccinated, Fiv/FeLV negative, spayed and microchipped. Her adoption donation is $100. But for the month of September her fee is reduced to $50  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.All animal breeds and ages are a best estimate November 4, 2024, 11:56 am

Story
Nuno is a 12 years old male kitten who is approx 20 pounds. A big boy, he's in a home where they now have infants now and he doesn't like kids, infants, etc. Not used to being in a home with them. He's been the only child until the babies came along. So we are looking for a quiet home where he can be the only pet in the house. He's large so having a home where there is some room for him to move around. A sunny, non smoking home. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Milky Way is one of six born to a kitten Mother herself way under a year old. Milky is happy, confident and more laid back than most of her siblings, many of whom are a rough neck type of little boys. She's snuggly and hangs with her Mother Sophie a lot as well. She is closest and snuggles mostly with Sweet Cheeks. They need to be adopted with him. They have Chantily fur from a breed of long ago, they feel like rabbits rather than cat fur. We are looking for non smoking homes that are indoor only. For more information on these cute furballs, call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Pepper has six siblings whom she gets along great with. Her and her siblings struggle a bit with other cats, but are overall pretty easy going. Her mother is a bit of a meanie, but she thankfully doesn't take on that trait, and is a sweetheart. She likes to get into things, though - watch your cords! She needs a happy home to love and care for her.
