Hi my name is Minky! I am a medium haired girl who is looking for my furever home. I was bottle raised so I am super social. I get along great with other cats and well mannered dogs. I love to snuggle and be carried around.

Story
Catrick is 7 years old. He loves attention and wants to follow you everywhere you go. His hobbies include watching birds, squirrels and zoomies through the cat tunnel. He has no known medical issues, and just needs his yearly distemper & rabies vaccine. He is an indoor cat only. He lives with three other cats, an is semi-bonded to one named Dopey. Dopey is the other cat I have listed. Let me know if you would be interested in them both. Otherwise, they are fine to be adopted out separately. FIV/FeLV negative, and microchipped. Catrick is great with our child, and is very patient while she is learning to pet him. He has lived with three dogs, and didn’t really care too much about their presence. He just minded his business. Catrick is a good boy. He warms up to you pretty quick.

Story
Emotion was rescued from under a trailer in Tioga County, PA and he was one of the last kittens to be caught because he was a bit skittish! Emotion has now grown into a handsome adult cat (although he remains small and petite in size) with a medium marble and white coat and HUGE eyes!!! He can be shy at first and tends to enjoy hiding and sleeping cuddled up to other cast but with a calm and gentle hand, he will come out of his shell and will approach people that he has had a chance to build a relationship with and knows well. Emotion has always been one of our favorites if the truth be known! He tends to be a sensitive sou.. This guy would do best in a home with another confident cat or kitten as a companion! He would also like to go to a home where he can eat plenty of canned cat food because he tends to be very food motivated and this brings him out of his shell! (He will even become very vocal over it!!! It's very cute and comical!) Emotion will need a patient and calm adopter who is dedicated to helping bring out the best in him and who will be focused on helping him feel safe and at home in a new setting! Emotion has come a long way while in our care but will need to have continued socialization with people. NO YOUNG CHILDREN for this kitten as he would do best in a quiet and calm home--no more chaos for this sweet boy! An experienced adopter would probably be best but not necessarily required as long as they are understanding, patient, and committed. Emotion does great with other cats and kittens and we are REQUIRING that he goes to a home with another cat or kitten companion to keep him company, help bring him out of his shell, and help him feel comfortable! Emotion will be introduced to a large, cat-friendly dog while in our care but again, only CALM dogs who know their place would be appropriate in a home with him. Emotion will have been neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped at his time of adoption! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!

Story
We don't know much about Gramps' past but we can tell that he is an old soul who led a long, rough lifestyle before coming to us! Although we don't know his age for sure, Gramps is most likely a senior cat. He was missing most of his teeth by the time that he was rescued and neutered. Gramps tends to be a gentle soul who just wants to relax and enjoy his golden years! Sadly, Gramps was injured and missing lots of hair on his face when we first met him but the hair is growing back now and we think it was probably due to having to defend himself against other unfixed male cats when he used to live outdoors. (Life for unfixed outdoor male cats is very difficult!) Gramps really enjoys love from people as well as wet food! He has a hearty appetite! Since coming to us, Gramps has been ok with other cats while here in our care... He can coexist as needed but does seem to be a little dominant at times so he would probably be best as an only cat. He adjusted very well to an indoor life after most likely living his entire previous life outside. He tends to enjoy just chilling and relaxing! He is a very calm cat but will play at times and will chase balls around! Gramps prefers a home without dogs! Let's find this old man the perfect home to spend his senior years in! He deserves for his golden years to be as golden as his coat! Gramps has been neutered, is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, flea treated, FIV/FeLV/HW tested negative, and microchipped! He is ready for adoption NOW!!! Interested adopters can submit an application by contacting HobosHome2020@yahoo.com or by sending us a message and we will send you the necessary form!

Story
Meet Peppermint Patty! This lovely totie lady was found on a gas well pad (get it, Patty?) in the middle of no where on a cold day, and it wasn't safe for her to stay there. All the workers were living in hotels, but she conned one of them into getting her to safety for a couple nights, and from there, she came to us. On those car rides, she relaxed loose on the front seat as if she'd gone for drives a million times. When she got to a home, she snuggled in a bed as if it was an old friend she missed. And at the shelter, she greets volunteers as if she's been starved of attention for a long time. Patty clearly used to be a loved cat, maybe an indoor one, so how she ended up hiding under the tanks at a well pad, we'll never know. The vet estimates Patty is 8 or 9 years old and she's being treated for a tongue ulceration, so she may blep a lot temporarily...or forever. She may need some work on her teeth, but we'll assess that once her tongue is better. She's just as sweet as her name suggests - she loves to snuggle, nuzzle and cuddle, gives great head butts and purrs like the motor at a candy factory. She's a true people cat, and will be an even truer friend to whoever picks her. She hasn't been in close contact with cats or dogs here yet, but she's so chill that she'll likely be just fine with them. Patty is already spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She's not quite ready to go yet, but she'd love visitors or pre-applications if you can't help but fall in love, which is easy to do. Apply to adopt your new best friend on our website (link in bio) or at the sanctuary any time we're open.
