Story
Bambi was originally adopted from our shelter a few years ago, but due to some recent medical changes her owner is going thorough, she has since returned to our care. Bambi knows she’s beautiful and is not afraid to flaunt it, whether she happens to be growing out an “ugly, but necessary haircut” or not. With her beautiful tabby stripes and stunning green/gold eyes, she is an undeniably pretty girl, and her good looks only make her princess attitude all the more fitting! Bambi loves attention on her own terms of course 😉 and will rub up against you or stretch on your leg when she wants pets. Be sure to pay attention though as this pretty princess will let you know when she’s had enough. Bambi’s purr-fect home would be a home with older kiddos (12+) as she needs a family who is able to read and understand body language and boundaries. Ideally, Bambi would love to be the queen kitty of her home, and has done just fine with other kitties that respect her space. Bambi is one of our sensitive tummy girls, and is currently on a special diet to help regulate her GI issues. Her new family will need to understand that she will likely need to be kept on a special diet and she may occasionally need some medicine to help with her tummy. Bambi simply needs someone who has the time and patience to allow our queen bee to be her best self. Could that be you?

Story
Casey came to the SPCA in March of this year through our Cruelty Division along with 12 other cats. Upon seizure it was obvious that she had a serious issue that had gone untreated for an extended period. Upon arrival to the shelter a basic exam was given and it was determined she had either a prolapsed rectum or a prolapsed uterus. She was immediately taken to Enchanted Mountain Urgent Care where she was sedated and they replaced her rectum and applied a stay suture in an attempt to prevent a prolapse from reoccurring. Unfortunately, a prolapse happened 3 days later. The next day a Colopexy was performed. A Colopexy is when the rectum is attached to the abdomen wall with an internal suture (stitch). She was also spayed at this time. We are now 7 weeks post operation with no issues. She has been cleared for adoption by our Veterinarian. We currently offer a soft food option with a dry food diet. Casey is a shy but very affectionate. She is not a fan of being held or picked up. But does enjoy rubbing on your legs and lots of petting and making her biscuits while this occurs. Feel free to stop in and meet this petite little lady anytime between 12-4pm 7 days week. Casey hopes to see you soon!

Story
This is Emmie. She is approximately 1-2 yrs old medium haired female. She has food allergies so must be on a special kind of cat (prescription) and medicine daily. She is very sweet, gets along fine with cats and dogs and tolerates children fine. She was found with a severe skin condition that is now under control. Now she is doing great and ready to find her furever home. Diet will be a lifetime commitment but medication may not be.

Story
This is Nemo. Nemo is a medium haired male approximately 5 months old. He is shy at first but after he warms up is very loving and a total purr bug. He came from an outdoor colony but has adapted to inside life just fine. Recommend he goes to a home with other animals because he loves his cat friends so much.
