Story
Lenox is a charming medium-haired black cat, featuring a unique patch of white under her neck. At just 2 years old, she was rescued from life on the streets after being abandoned. While she may initially be a bit shy around unfamiliar faces, she soon reveals her affectionate side. Lenox loves being held and enjoys delightful chin scratches. Although she isn't particularly keen on other cats, she might be able to tolerate a calm feline companion . Given her gentle temperament, we recommend a quiet home with only adults or children aged 12 and older. It’s essential that the household is dog-free. Lenox is spayed, parasite treated, has age appropriate vaccinations, tested negative for both FeLV and FIV and micro chipped. If you would like to adopt Lennox please complete an online Adoption Form at our website https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-application/ Or click the about us tab on this page and continue to our Adoption Application. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION: I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress. PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit. 1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped. 2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet, 3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt. 4) If you would like to meet one of our cats please submit an application at https://feralsandkittensandcatsohmy.org/adoption-form/ Find us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/carolsferalsny

Allow me to introduce Sebastian, a distinguished male cat with medium-length black fur, born on June 11, 2023. Although he may initially appear shy, he quickly demonstrates his affectionate disposition, reveling in being held and purring contentedly. Sebastian is also quite playful and enjoys engaging with other cats. Due to his adventurous nature , we recommend a home without young children or dogs to ensure his safety and well-being. Story
Meet Baby Doll and Lucy, two tender-hearted girls looking for a peaceful retirement home to call their own. Baby Doll is a sweet 12-year-old brown and white semi-fluffy tabby, and her best friend Lucy is a 7-year-old fluffy black and orange tortie. These bonded companions are timid by nature and would thrive in a calm, quiet home with a patient human who understands that trust takes time. They say no thank you to dogs and loud households, preferring soft voices, cozy cuddle spots, and the comfort of high perches where they can peacefully observe the world. Churu treats and bird videos are among their favorite pastimes. With love and patience, Baby Doll and Lucy will reward their special someone with gentle affection and lifelong companionship.

Story
Meet Doug—a striking ebony-colored lady with a name as unforgettable as her personality. This mysterious gal was found as a stray, so her past is a bit of a secret, but she's more than ready to write her next chapter with someone who respects her style. Doug enjoys affection on her terms—she’ll happily let you know when it’s time for cheek scritches or when she’d prefer a little solitude. She adores lounging high above the world on her favorite perches, where she can bird-watch and bask in peace. Add in her love for tasty meals, catnip toys, and soft conversations, and you've got yourself one cool, independent kitty who’s full of quiet charm and big opinions.

Story
Winky is an enchanting 11-year-old black and white tuxedo with a wise soul and the cutest set of extra toes on her front paws. This lovely senior lady is ready to settle into a serene retirement home where she can enjoy the quiet comforts she cherishes most—like soft blankets in cozy hideaways, the gentle rustle of wildlife just beyond the window, and her favorite: wet food served just so on a flat plate to avoid whisker fatigue. Winky has peacefully coexisted with other cats and occasionally indulges in a playful bat at a catnip mouse. Her special paws require a little extra TLC to keep her comfortable, but in return, she’ll fill your home with gentle charm, quiet companionship, and the sweet rhythm of a life well-lived.
