Angel came to our shelter as a surrender as her owners could no longer care for her, they loved her very much but unfortunately had to make the hard decision to bring her in. Angel was very scared at the shelter and because of her "curves" she did not have much space to move around in her cubby so she was moved into a foster home where she is doing much better. Angel is the sweetest cat who LOVES belly rubs, all of the attention and especially her treats. Unfortunately she does not like other animals in the home and would best in a nice quiet place where she can enjoy the sun and watch the birds outside from the window.

Extreme Bean is aptly named .. while at first blush he may seem extremely aggressive, his friends know better. He is just extremely scared. Bean is a nervous fellow who is basically scared of his own shadow. He has certainly taken a lot of work on the part of his fosters to get him to a place where he allows his foster mom to get close enough to pet him. When she does, he realizes he likes it but still has firm boundaries about how much touching he can tolerate. Luckily he has loud body language so it's easy to see when he's had enough. Extreme Bean will need a cat-savvy adopter who can continue to work on his socialization. He seems fine with other animals and may benefit from a cat friend but wouldn't be the right choice for a family with small kids.

Lady Bella is such a sweet cat!! The only reason I am not keeping her is because I am having major surgery and I cannot physically take care of her for the forseeable future. Her "special need" is only that she needs to eat a particular brand of food because she has some GI issues if she is given any other type of food. Although she is older, she is as deserving of a good home as any of the younger cats; this is the second or even third time this cat's life has been uprooted from a long-term placement, and she deserves to find a permanent home with someone who will love her.
