Blackie came from Tonawanda Coke before they shut their doors. His mother had a litter of kittens and we took one home when they closed their doors back in 2018. Blackie grew up alongside our eldest cat Trixie. They have had their differences but they actually get along great together. Blackie enjoys a calm environment. He is 6years old. He has not been fixed and could sincerely benefit from having that done. Blackie did not always respond well to the dogs when they bark its stresses him out. I want him to live comfortably where he will not feel stressed and where he can receive the best medical care.

Murph and his sister Isabelle and Charlotte spent most of their young lives outdoors. When they came into the shelter they were very scared and had some difficulty adjusting. So they went into foster care where they slowly began to trust people. Murph is a sweet, purry and jealous little guy. He loves attention and will head bump other kitties out of the way to get it! He does still have some boundaries; sometimes he'll give you a quick swat to remind you of them! He takes his lead from other cats so he'll need a quiet multiple cat home (he'd love to go home with his slightly more confident sister Isabelle if possible!).

Earl is a very big love bug. He loves getting attention and being pet. He's playful with toys and likes to chase jingle balls around. He does enjoy his down time too and is overall laid back. Earl does well with other cats, he mostly ignores them, but probably would be happier with fewer cats around him to share the attention. He does fine with dogs once he gets used to them. He is fiv+.

Maya is cute and playful. She once shared our bed and sometimes will snuggle up. She does like to tumble and nip while playing. She has anxiety which can lead to quirky but undisruptive behaviors. We personally chose not to medicate long term. She was once indoor/outdoor and that would likely be her preferred setting. Residing in a city, it is not an option currently. She does not do well in small or studio apartments. She needs space to roam! We do not currently have any other pets but she previously lived with a dog. When she has been exposed to other animals she is more passive. She probably would not do well with an aggressive animal. We are sad to part with her, but with the addition of a now one year old and a second baby on the way things have gotten more stressful than we can handle. She is not dangerous but neither is she friendly towards children. As a new mother, it is causing me unfair resentment towards her. She deserves a calm and loving home.
