Well hello there I am Nyx! I am sweet little lady once I get to know you. I love when people talk to me and I will talk back. I am an absolute cuddle bug and will lay in your lap as long as you let me. I haven't shown much interest in toys while I have been here at SICSA but will except all of the attention! This pet is available through SICSA Pet Adoption & Wellness Center, located at 8172 Washington Church Road, Washington Township, OH 45458. We are open Monday through Saturday from 12pm-7pm. To schedule an appointment or inquire about walk-in availability, you can reach us during our open hours at 937-294-6505.

Add some ‘purr’ to your life, with cutie boy, Burr! This sweet chubby cheek boy is as snuggly as they come. He loves to curl up with you, purr his little heart out, and be your bedtime buddy. At night especially, he’s the best cuddle partner around. He’s also super talkative and will happily “chat” with you throughout the day. And when it comes to other cats—he’s all about making friends!Burr is known to be a little dramatic if you try to leave the room without giving him the love and attention he feels he deserves. If he’s talking to you, he expects to be acknowledged—he knows his worth!Like all of us, he’s had a few struggles. He has had some bowel issues in the past, though his new medicine has made a world of difference. He’s also FIV positive, which sounds scary but really just means he needs a loving, low-stress home and good care (and he has lots of years of love to give!). He’s not the biggest fan of dogs, though with time and patience he can adjust—but with cats, he’s all in!At the end of the day, this boy is pure sweetness wrapped up in a furry little package. He just needs the right home to see past “the ugly” and embrace all the good and love he has to give. We believe Burr to be around 2 years old, and currently weighs around 10 lbs (but still needs to put on a few more pounds). You may apply to adopt Burr at www.pawpatroldayton.com/adopt. Burr is vaccinated, FELV tested negative, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $50. All of our animals are vaccinated, micro-chipped and spayed/neutered before being adopted.

This pet has been roaming my neighborhood for about 45 days that my neighbors and I can figure out. He’s very sweet, wants to cuddle all the time and does use the litter boxes we have used in our garages. He’s great with my 10 year old son but is scared of my 50 lb dog. He definitely used to be someone’s pet as he doesn’t really like to be outside and just wants to come in the house. He would make a wonderful snuggle companion and I just want him to find his best possible life. Vet said he’s 9 lbs, not fixed and not microchipped.

She was rescued as part of one of the most severe neglect cases the Humane Society of Greater Dayton has encountered in recent years. Coming from conditions filled with long-term filth, confinement, and neglect, it’s completely understandable that Honey Bun is a bit nervous as she adjusts to her new environment. While she may seem unsure at first, something wonderful happens when you offer her gentle love and patience. With soft pets and quiet attention, Honey Bun begins to relax and lean into the affection, showing that beneath her cautious exterior is a cat with the potential to be incredibly sweet and loving. Honey Bun is currently in our open cat room, where we hope she will continue to build confidence and flourish at her own pace. She will do best in a kind, calm, and patient home with someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her set the pace. With a safe space, gentle reassurance, and plenty of patience, Honey Bun is sure to blossom into a devoted companion.
