Story
Meet Tiger Tina – A Gentle Snuggle Bug Looking for Love  Tiger Tina is a beautiful 1-year-old shorthair tabby with striking black, gray, and white markings that make her look like a little work of art. She may start off a bit shy when meeting new people, but once she feels safe, her loving personality shines through—and that’s when you see what a true sweetheart she really is at heart, Tiger Tina is a cuddle cat. She loves to sleep in bed with her person, snuggled up close for comfort and warmth. Once she trusts you, she’ll happily keep you company, purring softly by your side and reminding you every day how rewarding it is to earn a cat’s love. Like many young tabbies, TIger Tina has a playful, curious side as well, and with a little encouragement, she’ll happily join in on toys and games. She’s litter box trained, well-mannered, and ready to fit right into a calm and loving household. TIger Tina would do best with a patient adopter who can give her the time and space she needs to fully blossom. In return, she’ll reward you with endless snuggles, loyal companionship, and the kind of quiet, devoted love that only a once-shy cat can give. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion who just needs a soft place to land, Tiger Tina might be your perfect match.    Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com and let us know where you live.   We transport up from Nashville, TN and will adopt and deliver to the northeastern states.   All our cats and kittens are in loving FOSTER HOMES and cared for and socialized with hugs and love PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.September 24, 2025, 6:56 pm

Story
Lillypad, Pollywog, and Minnow were found late one afternoon. Minnow was floating on a lilly pad on the edge of the Koi pond crying for help. His sister Lillypad ( Lilly for short) was on the edge of the pond soaking wet and Pollywog ran for the bushes as soon as we spotted them. If not for Minnows anguished cries, we are sure they would have suffered the same fate of drowning as their two siblings did.  Now thanks to a community effort by Critter Cavalry Rescue and these caring rescue ladies who are fostering them, there are3 little survivors who are  little miracles.  This little girl is called Pollywog ( Woggles for short lol) and you should see her dance with a feather. Skipping and hopping, pouncing and wriggling with wild abandon. She definitely is the clown of the litter and will be the joy of your heart. Endlessly entertaining just give her a feather or a toy that jingles this girl is 17 weeks old approximately as of 8/15 and 3 1/2 pounds  an Orange tabby girl that is beautiful and spayed with all shots given and FIV negative.  If you are interested in this special kitten please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   She is fostered in Tennessee and can be adopted locally as well as to the northeastern region.  We have a transport van that travels northward every weekend.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.October 24, 2025, 5:32 pm

Story
Meet Moochie – An Orange & White Gentleman with a Playful Spirit  Moochie is a handsome 5-year-old shorthair orange and white tabby with a personality as warm as his sunny coat. His journey hasn’t been the easiest—he was found outside of an assisted living home by a kind lady who cared for him but, sadly, couldn’t keep him. Now Moochie is safe in foster care and ready to find the forever family he deserves. Don’t let his age fool you—Moochie is still a busy, active boy with plenty of spunk. One of his favorite pastimes is “bird TV.” He’ll happily perch by the window for hours, chattering and pawing at the glass as he tries to catch his feathered friends outside. He also enjoys playing with the other cats and even gets along with the dogs in his foster home, showing that he’s a social guy who likes being part of the household. While Moochie isn’t a big fan of being held, he more than makes up for it with his sweet nature and affection in other ways. He’s a friendly boy who loves kisses and enjoys being close on his own terms. He’s the type of cat who will bring comfort and companionship without being overly demanding—a wonderful balance for someone who appreciates both independence and affection in a feline friend. Moochie is also fully litter box trained and well-mannered, making him an easy addition to the right home. He’s playful, curious, and loving in his own special way—a loyal companion who will brighten your days with his gentle presence and silly antics. If you’re looking for a cat with personality, charm, and a big heart, Moochie is waiting to meet you. Could this orange-and-white sweetheart be the one to fill your home with love and laughter?    Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    All our cats and kittens are in loving FOSTER HOMES that are socializing them and showing them the love of a family. Story
Grey’s Angel Girl was surrendered to Critter Cavalry Rescue last November, rescued from a farm of many, many sick cats.  This 3 year old was one of the lucky ones.  Not terribly sick; nothing that a few different medications quickly cured.  Now inside, in the kitty room, Grey definitely felt “out-of-sorts” for the first few months.  She was difficult to even touch the first several weeks.  A lot of hissing and fussing, I knew she was just scared.  Slowly but surely, Grey came to realize she was in a safe spot.  All this lady needed was a little love and reassurance every day, that it was all okay.  “This soft bed is for me?  This cozy cubby is mine?”  It has been rewarding to watch her improve day after day.  Grey is about 90% there, and with a little extra TLC, she will reach 100% in no time. There is a sweetheart in there.  Do you secretly cheer for the under-dog?  Or under-cat, in this case?  She so wants her forever home!  To pass the time, Grey Girl plays well on her own and alone.  She likes to bat the ball on the triple tiered ball toy.  Or the feathered toy on the end of the wand.  Grey Girl enjoys playing with the one year old female in the kitty room.  They play tag up and down the cat tower.  It is short-lived, but at least she has learned to play with others.  She is friendly with the other cats in the kitty room, but I think Grey would blossom more if she is the only cat getting all the attention!  She has never known that, being “the only cat”.  Grey can barely contain herself when mom pulls out the rubber brush!  No matter where she is in the kitty room, she is next to me immediately.  She is soon a large lump of love.  You can brush her for hours, it seems.  It is great watching her roll over and relax.  Grey has mastered the art of napping.  Don’t we all wish we could nap like a cat?  Head scratches?  Grey cannot get enough of them.  And back scratches, too?  Show me more!  Can you embrace this lovely, diluted grey and tan tortie with those big green, beautiful eyes?  It is time for her to get selected.  It is time for her to find her forever home.  Are you here to save the day?  To save Grey?  Please email CCR at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you want to be her 'Saving Greyce'.  Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped.
