Story
Have you ever seen such an unforgettable face on a tuxedo cat?  Our handsome one year old 12 pound boy is called General Meow.  A cat that started as a kitten born to a stray momma who raised them in the great outdoors with no care or shelter for his challenged mother. The Gods were this litter of 4 born to a shy and feral momma.  She raised General Meow and then brought him and his siblings up to a home in a neighborhood seeking food and water.  For quite some time they were all fed outside and the humans tried to make friends with the kittens and momma.  The kittens became easier to make friends with and although still scared, the kittens are a year old now and just merely shy with new people.  Not running away anymore.  General Meow is by far the friendliest of the littermates and has warmed up quite a bit in the first week of being inside a foster home. He loves tummy rubs and sitting in the window as well as playtime.  He loves to get scratches and roll around showing his belly which means total trust.  He is very loving and is still getting used to all the new things of being an inside cat. He is really getting more comfortable with the foster mom and faster than Chester.  His playtime with the foster mom has helped Chester to come out & play too.  These cats that started out with no chance for survival, have beat the odds and now we are going to make sure they have adoptive families that will be patient and allow them to unfold with love and trust.  General Meow is truly THERE with his love and trust and we just want it to be polished with your efforts to give him your loving attention.  If you are interested please email at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   He is well on his way now. November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Story
Little Miss Sparkles is a short-haired tortoise shell (tortie) tabby girl who is about 16 weeks old and oh so playful.  She has all the fun kitten antics down pat.  She loves to play with the fishing dangly toy and is typical in her game of “knock things off the counters and watch them fall”.   Little Miss Sparkles is exuberant and zesty in personality, even though she started out as the smallest kitten in her litter.  For example, when we were trying to get her to pose on a drape covered stool for her picture, she would leap up there and knock the drape down instead of just stepping up there.  She can be timid around loud noises or strangers at first, but if you break out the wet food, she comes running!  Sparkles was rescued from the street under a construction dumpster (which was about to be moved) along with her 5 siblings (at about 5 weeks old) and solid black mother cat (about a year old).  With much love and patience, it has been satisfying to teach the kittens to enjoy being petted since they were so feral at first.  The mama cat, Pinochle, and 4 remaining kittens, Sparkles, Checkers, Sneakers and Argyle, are feeling better and are ready to find their new furever home. Paisley and Courage are already thriving in their new homes. Currently, it is being recommended to adopt two kittens so they can stay together and play together, which gives them needed exercise and keeps them company, thus preventing them from being lonely or stressed.  If you would like to adopt two siblings from this litter of kittens, please email us at ccrtennessee@gmail.com    They are READY NOW!!! Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Story
Sweet Sue is a Torti adult girl who has had a wonderful resurrection from being discovered as a young barn cat to now living inside a wonderful foster home where she has all the comforts that a cat would need.  She is wonderful with other cats but not a playmate to any of the cats.  She just coexists in her more serious state of mind. What she really likes are the DOGS in the home and loves the young active boys that are typical boys.  She even lets them carry her all over the house and will  sleep right next to them under the bed covers with her head on the pillow like a little Queen!   She has exceptional house manners to have come from originally living in a barn and most probably being born there.  We are looking for a little castle for this girl and hoping that she will be treated like the royal girl that she deserves to be.  If you are interested please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.comNovember 3, 2024, 10:10 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Estimated Date of Birth 8/2/23 Callisto is a sweet dilute tortoisehell, estimated to be just around a year old. She wandered up pregnant to a rescuers home. The rescuer was able to provide her a safe space for her to give birth, and just in time too, as she gave birth to her 5 kittens 4 days later!    Although she seemed scared while she was outside, it turns out she’s the complete opposite. As soon as she realized she and her future babies (at the time) were safe and inside, she was more than happy to demand pets and cuddles from her foster who reached out to Proverbs 12:10 seeking assistance on her and her babies’ behalf.    Now that she’s done a great job at raising her babies, and retiring from motherhood, this gorgeous girl would like a chance to forever kitten, where patient humans are going to dote on her, and help her regain that confidence she’s hiding!    Her favorite things are wet food, all sorts of good attention: chin/ear/tail/scratches, pets, and even chest rubs!   She’s willing to get pedicures (aka nail trims) and get carried around by her future humans, and in turn she would like to bake them her air biscuits and provide her excellent services as a conversation partner.      *unsure at this time about other cats/ but she does seem to get excited when she sees the resident cats peeking around the corner - probably the right temperament/personality match * tortitude is still there * dogs unknownAdoption Fee: $130Callisto is spayed, microchipped, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and negative for Feline leukemia and FIV. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 30, 2024, 9:34 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Estimated Date of Birth: 7/28/24 This dilute tortoiseshell kitten is Lilac! Lilac  was born on 07/28/24 to Callisto, and is her mother's mini-me visually!    Although she might have the dilute gene, Lilac has a very vibrant personality. This sweet & curious girl is all about adventures and was often seen right behind her brothers' Sea Lavender and Milkweed getting into trouble! (They will say they were just exploring!) She has confidence and playfulness in spades, and loves to play with all of her siblings, and picking up things from the resident cats at her foster's home. She's an expert climber as well, and no dog pen can hold her back from exploring! She'll be sure to be packing up her loud purr motor and desire for pets and companionship onto her next adventure. She'll be sure to bring excitement to any home she goes to. While she's only seen dogs that stop by and still doesn't know what to think about them, she may be open to a home with a cat-savvy dog and older mini-humans may be okay as well.  Siblings: Milkweed, Snapdragon, Pansy, and Sea Lavender. Mom is Callisto.Adoption fee: $130. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Estimated Date of Birth: 7/28/24 DOB: 07/28/24   Sea Lavender is a medium haired grey tabby, and one of the flowers that Callisto’s grown this past summer. Despite being the smallest feline compared to his brothers, he’s an excellent jumper & was the first one to discover and lead his siblings (Milkweed & Lilac then Pansy & Snapdragon) to “adventures” outside of their room. A sweet, vocal kitten that is full of inquisitiveness combined with bravery. Although he loves playing with his siblings, and spending food time with them, he has made it known to his foster mom that he would very much prefer to follow her around and learn other ways on how to cat from his foster siblings: from how to react to the dogs’ that occasionally visit their human mom, how to work a bathroom guard shift, and how to integrate himself with his foster siblings to get nightly treats.   Siblings: Milkweed, Snapdragon, Pansy, and Lilac. Mom is Callisto.Adoption fee: $130. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Estimated Date of Birth: 7/28/24This sweet flower is Pansy, a medium-haired tortoiseshell kitten given birth to by Callisto on 07/28/2024 . She may act shy, but she can be as playful as a kitten can be around her siblings. While she may get along with other cats, this little girl definitely has some tortitude! She will prefer to observe her surroundings first, and may initially run away, but once she gets more comfortable or gets picked up, she is all about the pets and cuddles. Or perhaps, being carried around the home like the princess that she is!While she'll be great in a home with another kitten/cat that she can use to build her observations & play with, and maybe small dogs that'll respect her space. Due to her reserved demeanor, she would probably do best in a calmer home.Humans must be aware of the sass that comes with most tortoiseshell patterned kitties, as this one, has shown signs of having it! Her tortitude comes with soft fur, fluffy tail in progress, a working purr motor, and that sweet, budding sassy personality!Siblings: Milkweed, Snapdragon, Lilac, and Sea Lavender.
