A TRUE ANGEL OF A FELINE from the Top Gun litter  DOB 5/18/23 Remember Charlie, the sexy civilian female instructor played by Kelly McGillis in the 1986 “Top Gun” movie? Well, I’m her sweet, sassy, and affectionate namesake.  My littermates are all named after the Top Gun movies. My sisters are Halo and Phoenix; my brothers are Maverick, Goose, and Iceman.  Halo is white and black like me.  We say “white and black” instead of “black and white” because we are both mostly white.  I’m an outgoing, friendly, playful green-eyed gal with thick fur as soft as a bunny’s. I'm vocal just like my sister Halo.  You can see in one of the photos that I’m talking to the camera! I get along great with the big dogs, other cats, as well as teenagers in my foster home. Thank heavens our future foster mom was undaunted when she first saw us and accepted when asked that she foster us. FEISTY TOMBOY  DOB 5/16/23 Mew! Mew, everyone! I’m Violet, a sweet, friendly, and adorable fluffy silver-tabby gal who’s the only girl and the smallest of my litter, a.k.a. the #high-5-gang. I’m very attached to Foster Meowmy and follow her everywhere that she goes. Future Foster Meowmy found my pregnant momma Stella in her Pearland neighborhood, and thankfully momma Stella delivered my litter of five after she arrived in our foster home. Even though I look like a dainty lass, my favorite pastimes are eating and fighting my brothers. There’s nothing like a feisty tomboy! WRAP YOUR ARMS AROUND HIS SOFT FUR  DOB 8/11/23 Meow! Meow, everyone! I’m Binx, a sweet, friendly, very affectionate, warm-and-fuzzy black fluffy fella who was named after the iconic black cat of the Hocus Pocus movie. I’m an extremely trusting little guy who loves to be held. I overheard Foster Meowmy tell someone, “Binx has a beautiful, warm spirit and the softest fur!” She’s always amazed at how fast I zoom around when I’m playing with the feathers and strings that she dangles over my head and wiggles around the room. She likes it that I’m so well-behaved and adapt to her feeding schedule and not mine. I have quite a dramatic rescue story. One night, Foster Meowmy heard an animal's screaming outside, and she ran outside because it sounded like the animal was in distress. There I was, a puffy ball of fur, plaintively crying and running down the street after a ramshackle car as it drove away. Yes, you guessed it – I was dumped and abandoned! She brought me inside and calmly reassured me with food and cuddles before I settled down for the night. I must admit that I’m a very resilient dude because I made myself right at home from the very beginning. I introduced myself to all the hoomans and other cats, and then I wasted no time luxuriating in the warmth and safety of my new “digs.” Ever since, I’ve been absolutely playful, curious, happy, excited and attentive to everything.  I enjoy snuggling with the other foster kittens, so I hope that you’ll consider adopting me with one of them if you don’t have a playmate for me in your home already. CUDDLY FLUFF BALL  DOB 12/1/18 Hi everyone! I'm Penguin, a sweet, gentle, albeit prissy medium-haired tuxedo gal who’s a big fluff ball with a splendid plume of a tail. Don't you love my beautifully marked face that resembles the half-masked face of Drama? I LOVE people and the cuddles that we share. When I’m situated near my foster meowmy, I usually make biscuits as well as snuggle with her. But I’m no couch potato! No sirree! I love to play with my foster-kitty-mates Godzilla, Mothra, and Woobie as well as when my foster meowmy dangles the wand toy over my head. I can also entertain myself with balls with bells, catnip mice, and crinkle balls. I get along great with the other gentle resident cats in my foster home as well as a service dog who drops by occasionally. I'm accustomed to the calm and quiet of my foster home, so I'd probably do best in a home without chaos and without kids. I was rescued from a cat colony where I was struggling for my next meal. Foster Meowmy realized that I was too social to be feral, so she welcomed me into her home, where I’ve adjusted very well to its indoor comforts. I’m so grateful that my hardscrabble days as a stray cat are over! Although I'm available separately, it would be the cat's meow if I could be adopted with Godzilla, Mothra, or Woobee so we could keep each other company while you're at work or on vacation. Sumi-e is a gorgeous girl and she knows it! With her confident airs and debonair strut, it's hard to miss her love of regal life, as well-exemplified by her graceful hold of her tail as she grooms it. While she's not a fan of being picked up, she loves cuddles - especially on your lap. In some of her happy states, she will stand on the nearest furniture piece to chat with you, and often will "bow", which she does by ducking her head in a graceful tilt. Felix was living in a colony of cats at an apartment complex where a caring cat enthusiast was feeding the homeless cats. When they found out the apartment was scheduled for demolition, Felix was fortunate that the feeder of the colony was able to foster him.
