HI! Thanks for noticing me! This is what my foster says about me:Peno is a sweet but independent girl. She has the typical tortitude! She loves back scratches and tail swips but is not a fan of being picked up or held. She gets along with other cats and non reactive dogs, but not totally in love with kittens though She is respectful. She has never been around children and I would only recommend teens or older in her forever home. She still startles easily but does not normally hide. She loves to talk and will let you know when it is mealtime! She will sleep in bed with you.She is totally litter box trained and eats well. Loves kitty treats! She will play with cat dancers for hours and this will be a great way to help her with confidence with her new family. In short, Peno will make a wonderfully quirky family member. She will be the best kitty!

Story
I adopted Kya when she was just a few months old from Pet Smart! She is playful, cuddly, and lovey. I am moving across the country to be with my husband. We will be living in a one bedroom apartment and he has a dog. I don’t want to make her do the drive out there and living in a very small space with a toddler and dog. She loves treats, laser lights, and plastic springs! She loves laying in boxes and window ledges! She’s very lovey and likes being held. She does best alone, but does tolerate dogs. She isn’t a fan of other cats. I wish I could take her with me, but I think she’ll get more love from another home!

Story
Turbo was found on the top of a turbo on a Subaru engine. She was under 1 pound and maybe 2 weeks at most. This was about 3 years ago. She got me thru my first medical crisis where I almost died. Turbo was my 1 constant in a world of chaos. I recently had to move in with my sister and her 4 huskies. Turbo is not handling this change well since the dogs constantly "torment her" wanting to play. They mean well but they are not soft when they play. Turbo has begun holding her urine and according to the liter we have she is stressed. Watching her during the day vs the night when the dogs are locked in the room shows her stress level. I will be here for a few years and surgeries. This is not fair to her. She deserves to be happy. She loves potato chips, she purrs like the motor she was found on when you pet her.

Story
Meet Charger and Challenger: Your Gentle Giants in Need of Tender Love and Care! Are you ready to welcome a pair of adorable feline companions into your life? Look no further than Charger and Challenger, , two brothers with hearts as big as their purrs! Charger (White), is a social butterfly, always ready for a cuddle session on his terms. He loves to belly flop and get chin scratches, especially when treats are involved! Meanwhile, Challenger, has a newfound love for hopping up on the couch for some quality 'nearness' time.  These boys may get a bit nervous when approached quickly, but once they warm up to you, they'll steal your heart in no time. Picture this: a cozy evening, Charger by your side, happily accepting belly rubs as you unwind with your favorite TV show or book. And while Challenger may be a bit more reserved, he's recently discovered the joys of spending more time in proximity to his people. When it's mealtime, these boys are all in for some affectionate touches and pats – they truly appreciate the love while they eat. Despite their initial shyness, neither have shown any signs of aggression towards people or other animals. However, catching and crating them can be a bit of a challenge, so they'll need a patient and understanding owner who can help them build trust and confidence over time. Both boys have been fully vetted and microchipped and are ready to find their permanent home. Their favorite toys are laser pointers, catnip mice (especially the ones that move), and cat trees where they can be high or hide. These sweet boys thrive in a calm, stable home without the hustle and bustle of young children or excessive noise. While they're not quite lap cats yet, in the right environment, they could blossom into outgoing kitties, eager for affection and playtime. Both boys are food and resource driven, but they've shown no interest in causing mischief on countertops or with plants. Imagine the joy of watching them grow more comfortable and confident in their new home, knowing that your love and care have made all the difference in their lives.  If you're ready to open your heart and home to Charger and Challenger, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your kindness and compassion could make all the difference in their lives. Let's give them the loving forever home they deserve – they're waiting for you with open paws!    If you are interested please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue :   ccrnewengland@gmail.com Our vetting is extensive: Spay, rabies, FIV vaccine, FIV tested and negative, fecal and dewormings and a Drontal  and microchipped. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.November 4, 2024, 11:48 pm
