Story
Hi, my name is Mila (you may also call me Queen Mila, as you will find I am truly a beautiful queen). I’m a gorgeous 5 year old medium haired tuxedo girl, with a just right combo of sugar and spice, looking for my forever castle! My life has had LOTS of twists and turns…. I was rescued and adopted as a kitten, and then surrendered when my first family moved away ☹ I was adopted again, and all was well until I started having some issues with the resident toddler. I like my boundaries, and I wasn’t having a good time. As you can imagine I was very overwhelmed, scared and confused when I was surrendered again. Having your heart broken twice in 5 years…..well, I do not recommend it. It took me some time to settle back in at the rescue, but once I did, everyone discovered that I am a very affectionate, and charmingly goofy, little girl! I am very chatty, and I will let you know when I need some attention, as well as when I’ve had enough and need some “me time.” I am very particular about certain things and vocal about my boundaries. I do not like being touched on my lower back. I’m not really a fan of other cats; my helpers think the best thing is for me to be a solo kitty. I definitely need a house with no children, a quiet environment, and adopters who are very patient, and understand that I will need time to adjust to new surroundings. I have food sensitivities, and so I am on a prescription hydrolized protein diet as recommended by my vet. I really enjoy eating and will quickly let you know when my bowl is empty! I also really like fresh water—especially if it’s in a big bowl that I can splash my paws around in first before I settle down to drink. I love me some water play! Other favorites are cat tunnels for playing, and feather wands. I like to sleep in high up spaces, so I think I’d enjoy a nice cat tree for my beauty sleep. They say the third time’s the charm, and I need my third home to finally be my forever! I have so much love to give (and so much entertainment to provide!) to my new family.

Story
From Street Smart to Sweetheart Whisp: A Story of Transformation! This gorgeous 2-year-old spayed female, with her luxurious long hair, has come a long way from her street days. As a TNR'd teenager, she learned to be resourceful, but her true calling was always comfort and love. After discovering the joy of pets and a full belly at her foster mom's house, Whisp made the leap indoors and hasn't looked back! Now, Whisp is a happy, healthy girl, thanks to updated vet care and successful dental work that's left her pain-free. She embraces her indoor life, enjoying safe window-watching, spreading out for naps, and especially cuddling up to her foster mom for pets and brushes. She's not a fan of being held, but she'll happily lean in for all the attention you can offer. Whisp is also a playful spirit, chasing wands and lasers with enthusiasm, and she loves her tasty treats (Temptations are a favorite!) and food (Purina One dry and Fancy Feast gravy). Whisp dreams of a peaceful home, ideally as an only cat or with one laid-back feline companion. She's looking for an adult-only or with older teen household without dogs. Please see our rescue information for our adoption fees or email us at billythekiddenrescue@gmail.com. ‼️Help control the pet population - have your pets spayed or neutered! 💯

Story
Meet Hollister 💛 — a quietly confident tortie with a plush belly and a playful streak all her own. Hollister is a beautiful medium-haired tortoiseshell girl born on 10/10/25 who has truly embraced the good life after being rescued from an unsafe outdoor situation with her brother and sisters. Foster life suits her perfectly: warm beds, full bowls, and plenty of toys (which she considers hers, thank you very much). This clever, independent little lady is chill and laid back, but don’t be fooled—she has a playful side she loves to indulge. Her favorite game? Zooming around with her red crinkle ball proudly clutched in her mouth. She enjoys running and tumbling with her siblings, though she draws a polite but firm line when it comes to sharing her toys. Hollister gets along well with other cats and kids, making her a great fit for a calm but fun-loving home. When playtime winds down, you’ll likely find her perched on the top shelf, surveying her kingdom or curling up for a peaceful nap. And if you’re lucky enough to earn her trust, that fluffy belly might just steal your heart. She’s currently enjoying Purina One Healthy Kitten dry food and Sheba Cuts in chicken or turkey, with Temptations crunchy treats being her absolute favorite reward. ✨ Why we love Hollister: her stunning tortie coloring, her quiet confidence, and the way she balances independence with just the right amount of playfulness. If you’re looking for a kitten who is playful but not demanding, affectionate in her own way, and full of gentle personality, Hollister may be your perfect match
