George is almost 8 years old. He has a good personality and is a good evening lap kitty. Tolerates being held like a baby, but will definitely give you a look seeming to say "put me down please." Would be great if he could be re-homed with his sister, the grey kitty (Jane). He has been solely an indoor cat. He does not like dogs. I need to rehome for a variety of reasons: 1) Visiting family have allergies; 2) His sister doesn't do well with small children and he will sometimes swat at them when being bothered rather than walking away; 3) Family member is moving in with their dog for a few months. If both cats are homed together, I have an automatic feeder that can go along with them.

Jane is a sweet cat and will follow you around. She likes to be near you when you sit down to read, watch TV, etc. She's very lovey and begs for attention. She will get over-stimulated and scratch or nip at you. She only does this sometimes when you're petting her; she is not mean and doesn't do this randomly. You may be able to work with her on this, but as I am gone most of the day at work, haven't had the time. She has been solely an indoor cat. She does not like dogs. Would be great if she could be rehomed with her brother, George. He's the black kitty she's napping with. I need to rehome for a variety of reasons: 1) Visiting family have allergies; 2) She doesn't do well with small children because of the scratching/nipping thing and little ones don't understand they need to leave her alone; 3) Family member is moving in with their dog for a few months. If both cats are homed together, I have an automatic feeder that can go along with them.
