Meet Rocket, a 3-month-old male Domestic Medium Hair.Rocket has a need for speed! He loves to play and is very fun to hang out with. Rocket has a more brown coat right now but it is expected to grow/shed and be black when he is an adult. Rocket arrived at the adoption center as a stray and was not feeling very well but he got some great care as well as medical treatment. This boy is back to being a full speed rocket.Please remember that Rocket is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with.This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. Meet Maria, a 6-month-old female Domestic Medium Hair.Maria and her sister Melanie are very pretty young ladies! They are timid at the shelter, but they do enjoy attention so we believe they would do best in calm homes that can let them adjust slowly. Acclimation takes time and they will need a few hiding places or a limited area to help them adjust.
