Story
Meet the elegant and gentle Rajah! He loooves to be pet, and will make a wonderful companion cat! He is looking for a quiet home without any dogs (too scary, and loud). He is great with other cats and is a very chill boy. He takes a few days to settle in but then will be your loyal lap cat, always at your feet. He recently had some teeth pulled and is up-to-date on medical care. Wet food is an easy way to his heart.

Story
Meet Maddie, a 5-month-old female Domestic Medium Hair.Maddie was surrender because her owners had too many kittens. She is a really cute girl that is soaking up all the attention at the adoption center. Maddie is small for her age and has one ear that is just a little wonky. This loving lady is going to make a great companion. Please remember that Maddie is a kitten and kitten behavior comes with the package. They need lots of toys and places to scratch to learn good scratching habits. They also need patience as they finesse their litter box skills in a new home they are unfamiliar with. This pet is available for adoption at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center. If you recognize this animal please contact the adoption center at 509-457-6854.If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.yakimahumane.org. A Yakima Humane Society staff member will contact you once your questionnaire has been processed. Adopters are welcome to visit the adoption center Monday-Saturday. A Picture says 1000 words...right? While an animal's picture draws interest, the reality is that as a potential adopter most people would like as much information as possible about a pet. The Yakima Humane Society is an open admission shelter. What does this mean? Over 90% of the pets at the adoption center arrive as strays, no history of behavior or medical care is known. Adding a pet to your family is a big responsibility. Please research carefully and remember that adoption is life saving. Adopt Don't Shop.
