Story
Hello! Our sweet Rosie is a loving, fluffy, mice catching cat. We adopted her when she was just a few weeks old and unfortunately with our toddler we don’t seem to be the best fit for her as she keeps her distance from him - which will be challenging in the winter months. We think she would be better suited in a home without kids but where she can still roam the outdoors freely (which she does well). She’s well potty trained. She loves being pet in the mornings (she’ll wait outside your bedroom door!). She’s an easy cat to have at home and up to date with vaccines and vet appointments.

Story
I adopted Xander and his sister Mookie five years ago. During the vast majority of that time they were besties. But for some reason, Xander began attacking Mookie this summer. Not play-fighting but real actual attacks. He kept Mookie away from the food dish so she lost weight, and he kept her from the litterbox (which was horrible). I kept them apart for a couple of weeks, hoping things would get better, but no luck. As a result, I've had to separate them again, meaning Xander is living alone in the basement. This is far from ideal, of course, and something's got to give. He's the sweetest cat in the world! Not having him around the whole house is a real loss, but there doesn't seem to be any solution other than to give him a home environment he deserves. Perhaps obviously, he should be an only cat. He's been an indoor cat all his life so I don't know how well he'd do as a free-range kitty. He's fine with dogs but has no interest in interacting with them.
