I came to the adoption center via an owner surrender. I was an escape artist who was out on the streets a lot. I am very sweet and the volunteers are working with me to build trust with people. I do enjoy being petted for short durations. I love other cats and would love to find a home that has one or more cats. I was left alone a lot, so I would do best in a secure home with other cats. I also will need a patient and experienced owner. You can see me at our Adoption Center at 8901 E Trent, Ste 101 (corner of Argonne and Trent, next to Safeway). Please call 509-893-9829 for more information and/or to schedule an appointment. Appointments are typically available Tuesday through Saturday.

How's this for a bio?   Meet Turtle! Age: 11 months Adoption Fee: $85 (includes spay, microchip & registration, vaccines, and deworming) Turtle’s story started with a little adventure! A kind Good Samaritan brought her to a local pet ER, but this clever girl made a break for it in the parking lot. Thankfully, her explorer days were short-lived — the very next day she decided rescue life wasn’t so bad after all and allowed herself to be safely caught. Turtle is a gentle, shy soul who’s still learning to trust her surroundings. She’s done great with her litter box and has perfect manners. While she hasn’t “chosen violence,” she definitely prefers her own space and would thrive in a quiet home with no more than one other calm cat (or none at all). Turtle would do best with older children who can respect her boundaries and let her come around at her own pace. Once she feels safe, her sweet personality starts to shine through — she just needs someone patient who will give her the time and love she deserves. If you’re looking for a mellow companion who will appreciate a peaceful, cozy home, Turtle may be your perfect match.
