Story
Hello cat lovers, meet Campano! Her name might mean 'bell' in Italian, but this beautiful black domestic medium hair cat is anything but loud. Campano is a senior lady with a rich, mysterious personality that will surely captivate any feline enthusiast. Campano is a seasoned traveler, having been passed around various homes throughout her life. Her microchip tells a tale of many transitions, and yet, through all these changes, Campano has maintained her calm and collected demeanor. Most recently, she was surrendered to an open admission animal shelter due to medical conditions in her previous human family. Despite the upheavals in her life, she's remained a steadfast and peaceful companion to all creatures - humans, dogs, cats, and even bunnies. Her personality may be a bit of an enigma, but what we do know is that Campano appreciates her solitude. While she's content to be petted and will tolerate companionship, she prefers to spend most of her time in the quiet isolation of her foster mom's basement. She seems to find comfort in these tranquil spaces, making her the perfect cat for someone who appreciates a pet with a more independent streak. Campano has been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, a condition that is well managed with twice-daily medication. She's an excellent patient, taking her pills without any fuss. Her medication is also quite affordable, costing less than $5 a month. If you're looking for a low-maintenance and independent cat, Campano might just be the one for you. She doesn't ask for much, just a peaceful home where she can enjoy her quiet time, and a loving human who will ensure she gets her medication. In return, she will grace your home with her serene presence and maybe, just maybe, you'll be the one to uncover the mysteries of her quiet personality. Campano is ready for her forever home, one that can offer her stability, love, and the respect for her independence that she deserves.
