Story
I came from a hoarding situation, and I'm used to being around kitties all the time. It's my comfort zone to have a friend with me, so I need to go home with another kitty — OR — to another kitty (if you already have a buddy for me at home). This will help my transition out of shelter life as I continue to work on trust and letting go of that difficult time in my life. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Included in our adoption fee, all of our kitties are vaccinated, FELV / FIV tested, dewormed, microchipped, spayed / neutered, and checked out by a veterinarian.

Story
This lovely litter is 5 in total. Each sibling has its own unique personality. These little ones were born to a feral mother that has been vetted and released. She tested lightly positive for FIV, we are going to test the babies and hope that they have not carried it on from her. When they first came into rescue they were very nervous. Quickly they learned people feed us, keep us safe, and give us love. There isnt a moment that goes by that we arent amazed at how calm, gentle, loving, tolerant and social these babies have become. What an incredible gift. Please consider adopting one of these delightful 5 babies. Here is a link to some footage of these sweet babies: https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cy_mkUGuJ9i/?igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== Our policy is that kittens go in pairs especially when born into even numbered litters. The only exception is an odd numbered litter.  In cases with a singled out kitten they must go to an adopter that has a companion cat already.** Please contact us to learn more. Story
Mr.Shadow McGee is a lone wolf trying to find his place and his pack. This stranger made his way over to us when he was found wandering about for weeks outside. Being that he was timid it took time for him to come out of his shell. When he warms up to you and feels comfortable mister is very sweet, he purrs and enjoys lots of lovin. Mister Shadow needs his space at times which for an adult male cat is normal. He is currently enjoying getting used to living indoors.    He uses the boy well and is even getting used to being brushes gently. Mister Shadow should be in a cat savvy home, preferably without small children. We are testing with cats and dogs and will hopefully have that information soon. Please contact us to learn more. Name: NoodlezBreed: DMHDOB: 1/21/24Good with kids: YESGood with dogs: YESGood with cats: YESFoster location: Pingree Grove, ILAdoption fee: $200 a kitten or $350 for a pair of kittens  Fun Bio: These babes will be ready for adoption when they are 8-10 weeks old. So we have some time, but follow their story! Get an application in, and be patient OR apply for one of our already kittens or cats! If interested in a pet from us please fill out the adoption application that is located on our website.  We process applications in the order in which they are received.  We will likely not respond to interest emails regarding puppies and/or kittens, we get so many "interest" emails that we simply do not have the time to respond to each one.  We always recommend playtime, positive reinforcement training and a regular schedule for feeding times when bringing a new cat/kitten into your home. Adjustment takes time for both you and your new family member, so remember to be patient and enjoy this new and exciting time!Included in the adoption fee are age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV/FIV testing, deworming, spay or neuter surgery, and microchip. Anti-Declawing Policy:All cats and kittens will have a no declaw policy in their adoption contract with us!  Declawing is a series of bone amputations.  Declawing is more accurately described by the term de-knuckling and is not merely the removal of the claws, as the term “declawing” implies.  In humans, fingernails grow from the skin, but in animals that hunt prey, the claws grow from the bone; therefore, the last bone is amputates so the claw cannot re-grow.  Declawing is one of the most painful, routinely performed procedures in all of veterinary medicine.  Each toe of the cat is amputated at the first joint.  Declawing a cat is equivalent in a person to amputating the entire first knuckle of every finger.  Declawing is done strictly for the benefit of the owner.  There are NO benefits to the cat and NO good reasons to declaw. Declawing can lead to behavior changes.  A declawed cat has no way to defend itself and may resort to biting more often.  Due to pain, they may stop using the litterbox.  There are humane alternatives to declawing.  Cats can be trained to use scratching posts.  They should have their nails trimmed regularly.  There is double sided sticky tape that can be put on furniture to deter a cat from scratching there.  There are also nail caps called Soft Paws that are glued onto a cat's naile cat’s nails without harm. ##1999440##
