Buster is a semi feral kitten from a barn that has had working for monthsMeet Buster - an adorable little ball of fire. Honestly, he's a work in progress. You see, growing up, he never had enough positive human interaction. When you do try to pet him, he will let out the loudest hiss to tell you that he is terrified. He's not mean - just under-socialized. So, here he is, this beautiful little kitten who needs somebody special. He will need experienced cat people, teens/adults who know how not to scare him, and he really does scare easily. Even other cats scare him, and would do best with polite cats or alone. Sometimes, he seems to like being pet, but then he ‘freaks' out and slaps your hand. He will need people who will give him TONS of time to adjust. They need to take it extremely slow to gain his trust. We really hope someone will come give this little baby a chance, because this is the best time for him to get socialized, while he's young. It just hurts your heart when you see such a scared little one, but we know that someone, - maybe you - have the knowledge, love and patience to help out our little Buster.

Meet Maze! Maze and her kittens were found by a wonderful person who brought them to JRS. Now that Maze is done raising her kittens and all of them have found a home, she is now looking for a home of her own to call hers. She needs a patient family that will allow her time to warm up and come out of her shell. I am new to rescue, please check back for updates as my foster family gets to know me. Ask to meet me today!! Adoption fee: $75 All cats/kittens have been fully vetted including spay/neuter, micro-chipping, worming, heartworm testing and preventative treatment, flea/tick preventative, and all required age appropriate vaccinations. Our adoption process requires the submission of an application. Applications and Adoption Rules can be found on our website, on the "HOW TO ADOPT" tab on our website at JRsPupsNStuff.org. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and landlord. Please be sure to include the contact information for your vet as we will call. If your vet requires an information release, please be sure to contact them as soon as you submit your application. We are a group of volunteers with families and jobs, so please be patient and allow a few days for our response.

Smokey is approximately 10-11 years old. She is a very sweet girl and LOVES affection!! She needs to be the only animal in the house, as she does not get along with others. Same with children as she is very skiddish around others. It will take her a few days to warm up to you, but once she does, she is a huge lover!! The reason Smokey is up for adoption is because I was asked to keep her while some family friends were going through a divorce. It turns out that neither are able to have animals in their new homes. I currently have other animals and a child and need to keep Smokey separate from the others. I have tried introducing, vet visits/ suggestions/ and pheromone diffusers with no luck. After many discussions with her vet, it has been decided that she needs to be the only animal in the house hold and would recommend that she would not be around children. She has all claws. Her litter box and toys will be included as well.

Chester may be a younger cat, but he's an old man at heart &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 He's looking for an (early) retirement home, where he will be pampered daily and given attention whenever he asks for it. He demands food be delivered on a silver plater   But let's be honest. Chester is a sweetheart despite his old man personality. He has some quirks to work through, and his new family will have to understand that he's still learning how be a cat. He was from an animal hoarding house where 18 cats were removed, and he didn't get to learn what normal cats are supposed to do.    That said, he absolutely LOVES heated cat beds!    Chester is not dog tested yet, and he would do better in a home without children under the age of 10. He is growing his fur back, but he had some horrible mats that needed to be shaved out.
