Meet Big Hoss – The Hug-Loving Gentle Giant  Big Hoss is a 3-year-old buff tabby with a big heart and an even bigger personality! This handsome, affectionate boy loves to chat, give hugs, and soak up all the attention he can get. If you’re looking for a cat who truly adores people, Big Hoss is your guy! He was diagnosed with Feline Leukemia (FeLV) about a year ago, but has remained happy and healthy since. While FeLV has no cure and can shorten a cat’s lifespan, it’s not contagious to dogs or people, and there are vaccines available to protect FeLV-negative cats. Because of his diagnosis, Big Hoss would need to be the only cat or live with other FeLV-positive cats. To make sure he gets the love and comfort he deserves, we’re open to a “Forever Foster” home — meaning he can be spoiled in a home environment while the rescue continues to provide for any medical care he may need in the future.
