Story
Meet Boy Kitty! This handsome young boy cat is the son of Mama Kitty. :D No mom issues here, he's just a good influence on her and they do really well together so we'd love for them to be adopted together but it's not required. He would love another cat or cat friendly pup though. Boy Kitty is all about the humans and even loves pups too! He walked right up to the pup in his foster home and immediately tried to rub noses. He's also met the other cats in the home without issue too. But that's not all! This boy cat has the highest pitched meow! :D He almost squeaks and it's pretty stinking cute. He is a talker and will talk to you while he walks pack and forth for pets until your arm falls off. He doesn't love being held for a long time but will get in your lap and hang out as long as it suits him. This sweet boy will take a couple days to warm up but when he does, his cute squeak will find you anywhere to ask for pets or especially at dinner time. He knows when it is time to eat. Boy Kitty is litter box trained, loves chasing furry toys around, and will take treats out of your hand (very politely, of course). If you think you might have the perfect home for this boy (and hopefully his Mom), please let us know using this link: http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form. We'll forward it to his foster Mom who will happily call you to talk all thing Boy Kitty and see if it's a match. :D =================================================================================== If interested in adopting one of our available pets, please fill out an application at http://www.dixiegirldogrescue.org/adopt-form Most of our are pets are fostered in Southern foster homes and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Story
Sparky is a ‘Bejeweled’ kitten who likes to play and be a curious kitty. She has energy and playfulness to make a good playmate. She would like a sibling or another friendly pet in the home to play and snuggle with. Two of her sisters are still available. She does enjoy her snuggle time in a kitten pile on her fosters lap. She likes all toys including a roll of paper towels. She is food motivated if you are interested in training. She will be an elegant cat with her soft black fur and greenish brown eyes. Note: She was fostered with her 5 sisters. She has had full access in her foster home and is comfortable with the 2 resident adult cats and 2 senior spaniel dogs. *Inside only home* Looking to become part of the family. Story
Meet DAFFY! This sweet boy is patient, loving, laid back and cutely bashful at times. A sweet companion and snuggle buddy. He lights up at playtime, especially with his sister, Bugs. They light up a room together with their playful behavior. Daffy’s vision is not as clear as normal due to corneal scarring in both eyes causing the hazy appearance. But nothing deters this sweet little warrior. Daffy and his sister, Bugs, represent survival, love, togetherness and an unspoken but obvious bond between two siblings. Crate trained and great on short car rides in carrier. Adoption duo: For more info on Daffy’s sister, please see Bugs bio.

Story
Larry is an absolute lover boy! We rescued Larry and 2 of his siblings from a building that was abandoned due to a previous fire. He has come a long way from being scared since he never had humans love him- now he cannot get enough. He is a super playful boy and a purr machine. He’s a tad shy when meeting new people but warms up quickly and wants to be with you all the time. He’s such a sweet boy and deserves a family of his own.
