Hi, my name is Winona. I’m a beautiful short-haired mommy cat, and my life has been quite a journey. I was born with a condition called eyelid agenesis, which means I was born without eyelids. Before I was rescued, I was living on the streets, trying to survive with very limited vision. Even through those difficult times, I gave birth to four beautiful babies and did everything I could to keep them safe. When I was found, I went to my wonderful foster mom’s home. She says I did an amazing job raising my kittens, proving that you don’t have to see perfectly to take care of the ones you love. Once all of my babies found their forever homes, I had surgery on both of my eyes twice. I can see some now, and while my vision isn’t perfect, it has made such a difference in my life. Because my eyesight is still limited, fast movements can startle me. That’s why I’d do best in a home without young children—you know how quickly little ones can move! I’m incredibly loving with my people and have a purr that never seems to stop. I love affection and am so thankful for the safe, happy life I have today. I’ve come a long way to gain the vision I have now, but one thing has never changed: my sweet, friendly heart. Hi, I am Athena. I’m a sweet and gentle Tabico kitten and I’m Penelope’s little sister. We were two of the 6 cats abandoned trapped in a dog cage so I had a pretty scary start in life. But I’m learning that people can be kind. My sister and I look alike, but you can tell us apart. I have more of the tabby markings in my coat, with adorable stripes on my little legs and tiny gray dots scattered across my tummy. I’m an alert, curious girl and my eager little face will follow your every move. I love playing with my littermates. I can wrestle with the best of them, chase balls, and -- oh can I climb! I could practically be on a gymnastics team. A nice cat tree would be wonderful so I can show off my climbing skills. I’m spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. I’m still a little cautious and guarded, so I may need some patience while I learn that I can trust you. But once I know I’m safe, my sweet personality will begin to shine. The person on the street in my neighborhood that I found started taking care of me and she let my now foster mama down the street know about me so I could get back inside and stay safe! I’m learning every day that indoor life is the only place to be and that I can find my true forever home! I’m a curious fellow who enjoys chasing spring toys, pouncing after the toy wand, and finding the funniest places to relax—like curling up in the bathroom sink! Bessie was found at days old in my mothers vacant house we raised her but she was mostly in my older daughters room as the whole family is allergic but now she has also showing shes allergic to her I would like to find a older owner no kids or only older kids home for Bessie I have a 5 year old who she doesnt get along with so I would say adults or teens shes Best with Bessie had her first set of shots and is spayed and microchiped

Amy was adopted as a kitten and has been with our family for 10 years. She has been exposed to dogs and with time can adjust. She has been around children most of her life and tolerates them well, but will hiss if cornered and unable to escape. She is extremely cuddly, and loves to sleep with owner in their bed. She has a playful personality and we often to refer to her as our permanent kitten. Young children have been difficult for her, causing her a great deal of stress lately which is why we are choosing to rehome her as we expect our third child. She will do well in a home where she can be with her brother Sheldon (11), or in a house with older kids (6 and up). She has no dietary needs, or any restrictions. We want what is best for her.
