I found this beautiful girl in a park on a very hot day. She looked scared, so I called to her softly, and she walked right up to me and let me pick her up without any resistance. It was like she knew she needed help. I took her to the vet: she’s fully vaccinated, was checked for parasites, and is completely healthy. She has a funny little kink in her tail from an old injury, but the vet confirmed it’s fully healed and doesn’t cause her any pain — it’s part of her charm. You can tell she had a rough time on the streets, because she still struggles to feel safe. I already have another cat at home, and she seems much calmer being the only pet — she needs a home of her own where she can heal without having to compete for space. She’s affectionate and trusted me from the very first moment. She just needs patience, time, and a peaceful home where she can be queen of the house.

Salem is a sweet, shy boy who loves to have back and forth conversations with his humans. When he warms up to you, he loves to cuddle and receive pets. He thoroughly enjoys being brushed. Salem is currently staying in a home with 6 other cats and two dogs. He tolerates/ignores the dogs and is able to get along with most other cats. The only issue we’re having is he doesn’t get along with our small sick cat. Salem also does fine with kids. He currently lives with a toddler and simply avoids him. He’s an all around loving boy and would make a great addition to any household.

She was found just days after giving birth, exhausted and trying her best to keep her newborns safe. RAIN stepped in and rescued her from a kill shelter, and from the moment she arrived, she showed her true nature — sweet, trusting, and grateful for every gentle hand that helped her care for her babies. Motherhood hasn’t been easy. She raised three kittens all on her own, and like any single mom, she has her moments of sunshine and her moments of “please give me a minute.” But even on her grumpy days, she’s never unkind — just tired, honest, and deserving of rest. Now that her kittens are growing and she finally has space to breathe, she’s ready for something she’s never had: a calm, adult home where she can be the only cat and the center of someone’s world.
