Story
DSH – brown tabby -Female- Felv/FIV negative DOB approx 09/15/21 Hi peeps! My name is Wendy and I'm a Tucson native. I was born on the the streets of Tucson and rescued during a TNR effort. Being a friendly kitten, I was taking into the care of the rescue and placed in a foster home with my brothers. I'm initially shy which also does not help when people want to meet me. I promise, I'm only shy at first but am affectionate and love my people once I started trusting them. Just ask my foster mom. One thing I do not like is being picked up and held for longer periods of time aka carried around. It's just something I do not like. But, please let me tell you what I am bringing to the table. I'm a playful and loving cat after I get to know you. My foster home is kind of buys with human children, two mid-size dogs, and other rescue cats which leads me to seek attention later in the day when things are more quiet. When the mood strikes, I like my belly rubbed. You will know when that is as I will plop on the floor right in front of your feet. I also like sleeping on the bed with my foster mom as I am a snuggle bug. I'm the best Netflix buddy you can ask for and I won't spoil the ending of movies. I don't judge if we watch movies or listen to music on the couch or in bed as long as I can snuggle up with you. I promise! My preferred home would be one where I could be the only cat and be spoiled rotten. I'm live with the dogs in the home and even though I'm okay(ish) with the other cats, I would do best in a home without other cats. With that being said, I really would love to have a human and home to call my home. I’m what they call "ready for my forever home" as I'm already spayed, current on age appropriate vaccines, and have a microchip. I'm good with dogs, older kids, and will pick my person. My adoption fee of $140 includes: *spay surgery *up to day on vaccines *Felv/FIV testing *deworming *microchip To schedule a meet and greet, please submit a non-binding adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application Email: info@SOScatrescueAZ.org Call: (520) 445-3889

Story
GOOSE DSH – orange tabby -Male- Felv/FIV negative DOB approx 04/17/2017 Hi Tucson, My name, Goose, was given to me due to my adorable meow. Don't say it's not adorable because I am and thus everything about me is as well. chuckle I'm outgoing and affectionate, even playful when the mood strikes. I love to hunt the feather toy and catch it in mid air. Crinkle balls just won't do it. My human mom had to give me up when she moved into hospice care. I'm still a bit confused about it but my outgoing personality is still there. I'm very social and will seek your attention, love pets, and will ask for long brushing session. I will sit in your lap and purr your sorrows away. When the mood strikes, I will also return the favor and lick your arm. Well, to be honest, it's the signal for you to get the brush out and give me attention. I'm the total package, someone just has to give me a chance. Unfortunately, I'm not too keen on other cats and will hiss my little head off. That way I show them who's boss. In my previous home, I lived with dogs though. Please help me find a home. Thank you. My mature cat adoption fee of $140 includes: *neuter surgery *up to day on vaccines *deworming *Felv/FIV testing *microchip To schedule a meet and greet, please submit a non-binding adoption application via http://www.SOSCatRescueAZ.org/Adoption-Application Email: info@SOScatrescueAZ.org Call: (520) 445-3889

Story
Anika is a beautiful young cat that was abandoned and left alone to survive outdoors. We took her in but she was very distrusting and afraid of people. She can be petted but needs a patient person that will nurture her to bring her our of her shell. She is playful and likes treats and will let you give back scratches near her tail. This relationship will build slow and steady but the deep bond will be worth the patience. Anika has come a long way.  However, she needs to go to a quiet home and would best be adopted with Nina, they have become a bonded pair.       Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 22, 2024, 11:06 am

Story
Mama Maria (Indoor Only) was an abandoned mother with 5 babies and was just really a baby herself at the time. She was a wonderful mother and soon showed how wonderful she was herself.  She is quite and hesitant around new people and places at first, but with a little patience and lots of love, she will be rubbing against you and rolling over for tummy rubs.  She is very sweet natured and would do best in a quite home where she will be loved. She does great with other cats.  Sweet Harriet is the daughter of Mama Maria. We would like to keep them together and find a home where they can grow old together.  Both are a little timid at first but will come around after a few days of knowing they are in a good place. They are both very sweet, quite and well behaved cats. You will have a built in companion for them when you are not there so they will never be lonely Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 22, 2024, 11:06 am
