Story
Hello world, my name is Fannie. I'm a sweet 13 year old gal with the cutest tuxedo coat. Did I mention that I also have an adorable white spot on my cheek? I love getting pets and treats from my friends at HSSA! I enjoy spending my days lounging on cat trees and chasing mouse toys. I'm a sweetheart and I love ear scratches, chin rubs, and the occasional belly scratch or two. I'm looking for my forever home, where I can lounge in a comfy bed, be pampered, and enjoy my golden years. Do I sound purrfect? Because I am, come meet me and lets make some wonderful memories together! Meow. 🐾

Story
Hello future family! I go by the name Mambo. I'm a 13-year-old feline on the lookout for my forever home. At present, I'm enjoying the comforts of foster care, relishing every moment. During my time here, I've made significant progress on my weight loss journey, shedding those extra pounds. Now, I have the agility to leap and engage in lively play with my toys. Cuddling is a big part of who I am, and I find pure joy in sitting and listening to the melodious tunes of birds. When I crave attention, you'll definitely hear me express myself, as I'm quite chatty. Plus, I absolutely adore being pampered with a gentle brushing. Do I sound like the one for you? Please call an adoptions matchmaker at 520-327-6088 ext 173 to learn more about me before coming to meet me!

Story
Quick Facts: Breed(s): Domestic Shorthair Gender: Spayed Female Age: 4 years I’m good with:  Dogs?  Unknown    Cats?  Yes    Kids? No History: Gretchen's been at the Hermitage for most of her life, she came to us in May of 2017 as a transfer from another rescue.  Personality: Gretchen is a beautiful calico girl that's going to need to find a very understanding patient new forever home. She is slowly learning to trust humans and has made a few friends here among the staff and volunteers. Gretchen is a sassy girl true to her calico nature, and takes some time to warm up to new people. With the right person Gretchen may one day be a happy loving kitty, could you be that person? Medical:  Gretchen is a gorgeous FIV+ kitty. Did you know you can mix your household; with FIV and non-FIV kitties? FIV is transferred through deep bite wounds, so as long as the kitties are not aggressive, they can cohabitate! Our staff is happy to answer any questions you have about adopting an FIV+ cat! Story
DiabeticDyamond came to the Hermitage in February of 2021 when her owner could no longer afford to care for her medical expenses.  Dyamond is a very confident self assured beauty who is waiting to find a family of her very own to take care of her. She is a very sweet girl and will rub on you for pets and affection, when she wants her loves she's definitely not shy about it. Dyamond is very good about letting the humans in her life know when she is done with pet time however. We would love to see this beautiful girl find a forever home with people who love her and her big personality just like we do. If you come meet Dyamond your sure to fall in love!  Dyamond is a diabetic darling and receives insulin twice daily to keep her glucose levels balanced. Our staff is happy to answer any questions you may have about adopting a diabetic kitty into your family. November 29, 2023, 2:42 pm

I am a beautiful tabby girl with lots of markings of cool lines and circles. I have two brothers named Squirrel and Leroy and one sister named Abilene. When we’re not loving on our foster mom and dad, we’re running, jumping, climbing, and rolling around with each other. I look a lot like my brother Squirrel. Won’t you consider adopting us both? What a cute pair we'd make! I promise we will entertain you for hours and hours. Then we will grow into beautiful cats who will be perfect feline companions. Fill out an adoption application today! Then you can come meet us and consider making me and maybe one of my siblings a part of your family. ##1839311##

Story
I am a handsome tabby boy named Squirrel. Why Squirrel? You see, my foster mom lived in the Midwest most of her life and says I’m the perfect “squirrel-feline” combination: a lean, good-looking feline wearing the coat of a fine-looking squirrel. I have one brother named Leroy and two sisters named Abilene and Xena. When we’re not loving on our foster mom and dad, we’re running, jumping, climbing, and rolling around with each other. I look a lot like my sister Xena. Won’t you consider adopting us both? What a cute pair we make! I promise we will entertain you for hours and hours. Story
Greetings, hooman! My name is August Cornell; quite regal, wouldn't you say? Some like to call me Lord August Cornell III (PhD). Besides being an accomplished noble gentle-cat, I am very sweet, low-key, and affectionate. I absolutely cherish a good cheek and forehead massage! I do also enjoy a nice warm lap to accompany said exquisite massage! Not only do I make a fantastic companion to my hooman, I’m also a good companion to other cats, including the tiny kittens I am currently being fostered with. I’ll make mighty fine gentle-kittens out of them some day! I have much to bring to your estate in terms of nobility, love, and cuddles, so you would be best advised to take me home. I would also suggest adding one of the kittens, especially Ravioli, to our newly formed family. He has really taken a liking to me, and has good tastes, if I do say so myself! ##1862295##

Story
As my brother Perry said, we had a rough start in life. We weren't brought in to Paws Patrol until we were 7 months old!  Because of that, I'm shy and still getting used to human touch, but with time I'm sure I'll get better about it. Our fosters are teaching us that humans can be safe!  I do feel safest when my brother is around though and will need a forever home with him. We love playing with one another and really enjoy seeing other kitties too! I'm a striking tiger-with-white tabby, but almost no tail. I look like a Manx kitty that way. If you're a cat-savvy person with patience and a quiet home, Perry and I would love to get to know you and stay with you forever. ##1852380##

Story
My name is Polka Dot! I was living in the desert when Paws Patrol found me and taught me a new way of life. At first, I wasn't too sure about the change but soon discovered I was made to be a pampered girl! It's so nice to be part of my foster family and boy, did I get lucky! I get to play with their kids, their friendly dog, and my feline friends. I enjoy everyone's company so much. Let's not forget about the cuddles!  Around 10:00 every night I get sleepy and very affectionate this means that it's time to snuggle and enjoy a long cat nap. If you are searching for a fun, friendly Tuxedo girl with impeccable manners and whiskers galore, please call Paws Patrol soon. I've been dreaming about my forever home and my heart is wishing that I will find my person soon. ##1742395##

Story
Hello, This is Bear, unfortunately Bear hasn’t had the best life. We acquired Bear after he had been rehomed multiple times in CA. The decision to bring him home wasn’t taken lightly and was only temporary. Bear was left behind by a friends roommate who unfortunately had a husky with a history of killing cats. In the time we’ve had him Bear has shown himself to be a big love bug. He doesn’t love being picked up but will come up and snuggle close if given the opportunity.. he LOVES being pet and given the occasional belly rub. There truely isn’t a mean bone in his body. Bear does need to go to a no dog or low energy dog home due to the trauma he’s incurred. He’s easily stressed and is prone to over grooming. We currently have a high energy dog that causing him more harm than good.. please consider opening your heart and home to this cat.. if there ever was a feline that deserved it more it’s him.

Story
Abe is a big boy - 15 lbs. of very fluffy, talkative, handsome, energetic, loveable kitty cat. He is 22 months old. He is my only pet. He would be good in a home with a buddy, a cat or dog to play with. He loves to play. I have grown allergic to his fur. But I am eager to find him a good home. He is tactile in that he will come up behind me and tap, tap the back of my leg. I have never figured out what it means precisely. But, from time to time it has meant he wants some wet food. At other times, he simply wants to play. He is affectionate ON HIS TERMS. He will come up when I am sitting in the recliner and turn his body around and plop down next to me and sleep for hours. So that cat and I share the same seat space in the recliner. Other times when I go to pet him, he will either ignore me or swat my hand away -- very independent minded but also very loveable.

Story
Need to rehome my senior cat. She's 17 with kidney disease but it's managed well with diet. She's incredibly loving and just wants a lap to sit on all the time. She'll howl at you with a toy in her mouth quite often. She can be quite sassy for being an oldie. She has lived with both other dogs and cats. It has been years since she lived with a dog and it does take her some time to warm up to other cats. She loves to be in covered cat beds or windows.
