Story
Beautiful and Elegant Nora!! She is a bit shy of people, but she loves all her cat friends. All of the foster kittens that have come through her home she’s been very kind and loving to. She also loves bonding with her foster mom over a Churu treat. She does get along really well with her foster mom’s nephew, so she may do well with a male adopting her also. If you have room in your home and heart and some patience to gain Nora’s love, she will be your best friend. Nora is spayed, up to date on all of her vaccinations and is microchipped. If you have it in your heart for Nora, please email ResQpaws at info@resqpaws.org or call 530-713-9079 for more information. You can fill out an application on our website, resqpaws.org. Story
Chiquito was famous for coming to us with some eye issues that gave him a rough start in life. Thankful to the public he was able to get the eye surgery he needed to make him comfortable and now he is doing amazing! He was always an amazing, playful kitten, but since his surgery was completed you can tell he feels so much better! He just turned 1, so he’s a little more mellow then he was in his kitten days, but he still enjoys some playing with his wand cat toys and chasing lasers! He also enjoys snuggles, and just enjoying life on his cat tree. Chiquito is up to date on shots, neutered, and micro chipped. If you would like to meet Chiquito, please email ResQpaws at info@resqpaws.org or call 530-713-9079 for more information. You can fill out an application on our website, resqpaws.org. Story
Hello, this is Leia! She is a very sweet cat who unfortunately has lost her owner. Her owner passed unexpectedly in February and her owner's sister and husband have tried their best to get Leia to integrate into their household. Leia loved her owner deeply and was extremely heartbroken by her sudden disappearance. She's about six years old and was acquired from Deb's Paws and Claws in the Yuba City area. She is spayed and had her shots when she was a kitten. In addition to the grief of losing her owner, Leia is a skittish cat with a lot of anxiety. Attempts to treat her anxiety have unfortunately exacerbated her distress. Leia is slow to warm up and very sensitive. When she lived in her owner's room, she was a happy, affectionate companion who would snuggle into her human and sit in her lap. She gets along with gentle cats, but one of her problems here is she attracts bullying from aggressive cats. She requires a chill home without a lot of activity and commotion.
