Story
I rescued my two kitties while in college and was never planning on moving home however some things changed and I had to. Unfortunately our one dog has too high of a prey drive and has been unable to get used to the cats over the year and a half period. They are 5 years old and the best boys! The sit really well for nail trimmings, they have never bitten or scratched me, and they love to cuddle. Apollo is a very curious outgoing cat while Calcifer is more reserved but has a funny personality when he finally gets comfortable and comes out of his shell. They would probably prefer a dog free home however they are okay with our other dog so if you do have a dog, a relaxed docile one would be ideal. They are a bonded pair and would need to go together and they don’t love to spend a ton of time alone so they would be perfect for someone who works from home or has a large enough family that at least one person would be home.

Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) These sisters were born to be wild, but not in a bad way. They are the most energetic of the litter and really know how to have fun. Yomie absolutely loves attention and being on someone’s lap, shoulder, back or head, purring the entire time. She wants to be close to her person and likes rubbing faces. Although her primary objective is getting attention, Yomie really knows how to have a good time. She is a marathon runner, an avid hunter and will kill any toy that moves in her field of vision. She is slender and built for speed. Yomi’s sister Fuji is just as active as Yomie with her own set of athletic abilities and skills. Fuji is an acclaimed high jumper that enjoys (cat) tree climbing, zooming through the cat tunnel, and carrying toys (big and small) around. Fuji will need a high (carpeted) cat tree, or two, in her home to maintain her climbing skills. Fuji is full of fun and the life of the party. Once she has exhausted her energy Fuji will climb on a lap to relax. These sisters will run around and play until physically exhausted, and sometimes panting. As active as they are, they also enjoy spending some time on the couch hanging out. Yomie and Fuji are smart and are always investigating new things and will likely be in the middle of any home project. This dynamic duo is looking for a home together where they have room to run around and be crazy. They would probably do fine in a home with other friendly cats, a cat savvy mellow dog and teen children, or older. If you would like to know more about these party girls please fill out and submit an adoption application. ________________________________________________________ ****MEDICAL INFO**** WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity-based rescue with our kitten’s health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED by a PRIVATE veterinarian ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION***** By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home. ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Story
Hello, I'm Norma Jean, your future best friend! I'm a sweet, funny, playful, loyal, mellow, and a bit goofy cat. I love to play and my curiosity often leads me to the most interesting discoveries. Food? Oh, I can't resist it! I'm quite the foodie, you see. I may do well with other pets, but I'm also content with just human company. My favorite pastime? Lounging in the sun and taking catnaps. I can sometimes be on the independent side but will let you know when I am looking of some TLC. I'm not just a cat, I'm a companion, a friend, a confidante. If you're looking for loyalty and endless amusement, I'm your girl. A manager consult will be provided to discuss my individual quirks and needs. Adopt me and let's make beautiful memories together!Adoption fee: WaivedMonthly Promotion Applies
