1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the endHi, my name is Cici and I’m a beautiful white and black young lady. I’m typically a quiet, easy-going gal, but I do love play time. I like all kinds of cat toys (teaser wands are a favorite) and also love to play with other kittens. I also love to climb, so don’t be surprised if you find me on top of a cat tree or on the windowsill checking out what’s going on outside! I am currently in a foster home with two other kittens (Baguette and Finn). Although we aren’t related, we get along really well, playing, cuddling, and sleeping together. I’d love to be in a home with another kitty, especially if it was with one of my step-siblings! I can be a bit shy to start, but you’ll find that once I’ve gotten to know you, I have lots of love to give. I have a good purr motor and I like to talk quietly to you (eg. I’ll remind you when it’s time for my wet food!). I like hang around near you, hop into your lap for pets, and give you ankle rubs and chin rubs. If you really want to get my attention, please offer me some treats (I love Temptations and Churu!)! I know I’ll make a lovely companion and am I’m looking forward to the opportunity to reward you with my playful charm and quiet affection! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! No one knows the kittens better than the people who have had them for the last several weeks or more. They will give you full details as to personality, background, quirks, likes/dislikes, ETC. Since adopting a pet is a commitment for the next 15-20 years, you want as much information as possible to make the best decision. ***Private, quiet meet & greets You get to visit the kittens in their own current environment where they run free so their true personality shines through. Our kittens aren’t subjected to noisy stores and stressful cages and you won’t be competing with other annoying people for your desired kittens. ***Quality over Quantity We are a small rescue so we can focus on each kitten individually to provide personalized medical & socialization protocols. Because we do not overcrowd, our cats do not pass contagious diseases to each other. ***Veterinary Care We balance a mix of holistic & conventional protocols to keep our kittens healthy. We use high quality disease preventatives & medication when necessary. Mission Meow only wants the best medical care for our kittens, so we don’t skimp on those costs AT ALL. We work closely with our vet to come up with a plan for any kittens who may be ill and to prevent any unnecessary and over medicating. Three local veterinarians have adopted from us after observing the quality of our kittens. ***Food Our kittens are nourished with high-quality food. We ‘ve been offered free /discounted food from other companies but we choose to use the best option even if it costs more for us. ***Resident Pet/Child Safety While no one can guarantee the health of any living being, we do our best to make sure your adopted kitten does not have any issues such as parasitic worms that can be passed on to your resident pets or children. We have a very thorough deworming protocol using the best products on the market and the proper duration. Most places adopt kittens while they are in between showing signs of intestinal worms. Not us. ***Post Adoption Support It is extremely rare that we have any issues post adoption, but if there were any that presented themselves, we would work with you towards a resolution. We pride ourselves on the one-on-one relationships we build with our adopters. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Lincoln/Citrus Heights/Auburn CA area, or at Bark Avenue Rocklin ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. 1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Purrs, snuggles and unconditional love is the best way to describe Jack and Sammy. These mature kittens have so much love (and snuggles) to offer a family. They are bonded brothers who support each other in stressful situations. They play, eat and sleep together. Sammy and Jack will keep to themselves around people they don’t know but it usually doesn’t take them long to warm up to people who offer then treats and attention. I am very impressed how gentle they are with the 6-week-old foster kittens that they are sharing a foster home with. They all chase one another around the house and play with toys together. Sammy and Jack both like hanging out with their foster parents watching TV and sleeping with them. Both are usually on someone’s lap or sharing a lap. Please read their individual bios for additional information on these fabulous feline brothers. If you are looking for a pair of amazing companion kitties you need to meet Jack and Sammy! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ****HOW WE ARE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER RESCUES/SHELTERS**** ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! PLEASE NOTE This particular cat is being fostered in the *MERCED AREA*. Meet & greets are ideally done there, however it's sometimes it's possible we can arrange a meet & greet In Elk Grove or Roseville. Please fill out application below. Pepper Pepper is a remarkable little survivor with a heart as big as her story. After being found trapped in a storm drain for a couple of days, Pepper was whisked away by a kind human who later took her to the welcoming home of a kind rescuer and her teenage daughter. The girl, recovering from her own health challenges, chose Pepper as her summer project and what an adventure it became! At first, Pepper’s feisty spirit and wary eyes hinted at the rough patches she’d endured. But with endless patience, gentle words, and heartfelt devotion, her teenage foster friend showed her the true meaning of love and safety. Now, Pepper is a transformed kitty, blossoming into an affectionate lap cat with a sweet, purring soul. She delights in long snuggles and has learned to trust, returning every ounce of care with boundless love. Though loud noises can still startle her, sending her off to her favorite cozy hideout, Pepper always returns, seeking out the warmth of a trusted lap. Pepper can live with other cats and dogs after a proper introduction, but she can also be content as the only pet. She will tolerate being held but generally prefers not to be. If you’re ready to open your home and heart to a kitty who needs a patient family, Pepper is more than prepared to shower you with affection and gratitude. ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! 1) READ ENTIRE AD 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end). *****BONDED PAIR LOCATED IN MERCED AREA***** Meet the Yin and Yang duo: Mooshi and Jacob. These two kittens are complete opposites in both color and personality, yet together they form the perfect balance. Mooshi is a striking pure-white kitten who happens to be deaf. He was found wandering alone at night and stopped right in front of a gas station exit. Thankfully, a kind rescuer spotted him and took him in. Mooshi’s personality is as bright as his fur. He’s the life of the party zooming around the house, investigating every corner, leaping onto every surface, and playfully roughhousing with cats, dogs, and humans alike, all before you’ve finished your morning coffee. He’s got the energy of an Energizer bunny, but when he’s done, he’ll flop down dramatically and snooze without a care in the world. When nighttime comes and his batteries run low, Mooshi turns into a snuggle bug, seeking out warm cuddles with his favorite humans. Because Mooshi can’t hear, he’d do best in a home that isn’t too noisy or high-traffic, so he doesn’t get startled by sudden movements. Although deaf, his visual acuity is impeccable and helps him navigate the world beautifully. Jacob, on the other hand, is the calm to Mooshi’s storm. This handsome boy loves lounging on soft cat beds, cozy chairs, or a good perch on the cat tree. He’s gentle, affectionate, and always ready to lend an ear, literally, for his brother, Mooshi. While Jacob can be vocal when he’s hungry or wants attention, he’s mostly a laid-back sweetheart who enjoys human company and expresses his love with deep, rumbling purrs. Jacob also aspires to be a runway supermodel with his sleek build and long, elegant legs. And he’s not your typical black kitty, if you look closely, you’ll see subtle tabby stripes that add a stylish pop of pattern to his glossy coat. Together, they balance each other perfectly. Mooshi’s playful spark and Jacob’s soothing calm. Mooshi is DEAF so a special home is required. ________________________________________________________ ***WHY MISSION MEOW IS BEST TO ADOPT FROM:*** ***Complete Information You get to speak directly to the foster family who have the kittens in their care! Story
Finn is 6 years old. I got him from a friend when I was an older teen. He's absolutely amazing but I can no longer afford him. I need him to go to a more stable home. He is a mix of indoor and outdoor. I've attempted strictly indoor for months at a time but frankly he hates it, partially because I don't have enough space for him inside. He does love to be inside for short periods of time. He's a really sweet boy and very confident. He does really well with dogs and with some cats but not all. Update: He is now fully vaccinated
