Story
Meet Petey, an adventurous and affectionate 8-year-old cat looking for his perfect match. He has a big personality and needs to be the only cat in the home. Petey does best with an experienced cat owner who understands feline signals and can respect his boundaries. He has lots of energy and loves interactive play, exploring, and supervised outdoor time without a leash. Petey can get overstimulated and may bite or scratch if pushed past his limit, but with a calm, cat-savvy person, he becomes a loyal and loving companion who sticks close and shows plenty of affection. If you want a cat with heart, personality, and a love for adventure, Petey may be the perfect fit. He is located in Fort Collins, neutered, and vaccinated.

Story
Mincemeat has gotten along with everyone he has met. We used to him call him our diplocat because he is diplomatic and friendly. About five months ago Mincemeat broke his back right leg so he he now walks with a limp but it hasn't slowed him down at all. He loves cuddles and alone time. He does well with other pets or by himself! He loves treats and playing with toys! We want him to go to a good home with someone who will love him so much. He loves his dog and cat friends and he warms up to other animals almost instantly. Mincemeat wakes up, has breakfast and goes back to bed for a bit. He spends his afternoon looking out the window or snuggling in his cat bed. He is mostly laid back with bursts of energy if you want to play with him. Sometimes he gets the zoomies and looks like a little raccoon when he runs around. He loves looking out the window. He just has that little limp so we have tried to keep him from jumping off big heights.

Story
Meet Yuri - I’m the best of both kinds of cats. I’m curious, self stimulating, a little bit of a menace, and a cuddle bug. I love playing with my toys and my brother, and I’m very interested in my foster dog and cat siblings. I tend to be a little micheveious - unrolling toilet paper, getting into food that’s not mine, and being unruly for nail trims. But I’m very snuggly when I’m tired and want human contact. I use the litter box like a champ, and am very content in my own space with proper appropriate stimulation. I’d love to go to a home with my brother Stamp, but would also be just fine on my own, or in a home with other friends. My right eye glows a little bit stronger than my left. It’s a remnant of an old viral infection, but it doesn’t stop me from seeing, playing, or being the bestest kitten. Yuri is 5 months old, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $250. We will prioritize applicants who want to adopt both Yuri and Stamp. If interested in adopting, please fill out the application at the following link: https://www.wildwestpetrescue.org/adopt

Story
*Sabrina does not attend our weekly Saturday adoption events. She is available by private adoption appointment to pre-approved applicants and is located in foster care in Denver, CO. Contact us to learn more!* Sabrina is a young mama with the softest heart and a gentle, tender spirit. Now that she’s finished raising her two spirited kittens, she’s finally ready to be someone’s baby. She may start off a bit timid, but she’s an absolute sweetheart. Sabrina loves gentle pets—especially back scratches—and will quietly ask for affection once she feels safe. She’s slowly discovering the joy of cuddling and would make a wonderful companion for anyone who wants a soft-spoken, chatty friend. Still very much a kitten herself, she also enjoys engaging in playful moments with her little ones. Sabrina hasn’t been exposed to dogs yet, but her gentle nature shines through even when she’s unsure. She’s a sweet, tender soul who just needs a calm, loving home to blossom. Sabrina is an 8-month-old mixed breed. This cat's adoption fee is $150 and includes vaccinations, microchip, spay, and FeLV/FIV test. We would love for you to meet this cat and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). *We will not be hosting an adoption event on December 6th. Instead, we will offer private appointments to approved applicants December 1-7.* For additional questions regarding meeting this cat please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Hi, I`m Muffin! I am a working cat looking for my new home. I am a shy, undersocialized cat who has lived the outdoor life before, and I need my privacy and freedom. I’m happy to return to that same lifestyle in your barn, storage shed, or other outdoor building. After I’m adjusted when you take me home, I may become a bit braver around you, but I’m still a working cat at heart - not a companion cat.If you have a rodent problem, we have your solution - adopt one of our working cats today! All of our working cats come altered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative and ready to work.Working cats are mousers that need to live outside of city limits in a barn or outdoor building. All they require are two square meals a day, fresh water and future veterinary care. Due to their behavior, these cats are not suited for normal adoption as indoor pets. However, their love for the outdoors, need for a job and thirst for adventure will ensure your barn or shed will stay pest free for years to come!

These cats are in Windsor, Colorado too!

Story
Meet the cat named Kitty! Our sweet girl is 6 years old and around 10 lbs. We are sad to need to find her a new home but we just found out that our son is allergic, otherwise we wouldnt be rehoming her. We really want to find a home where she is loved and spoiled. Kitty is easy going, loves being brushed, although, she is a bit of a princess and has her own water fountain. Her favorite spots to hang out are in the window looking out into the back yard, on our laps when we are snuggled in a fuzzy blanket and in her cat hammock in her huge cat cage. Kitty likes to explore and hide under beds or in baskets. She is comically vocal and if you tell her to, Get it, when she sees a fly or a random scrap of string. Kitty has been around for all the baby and toddler stages with my 4 year old daughter and did well with her most of the time. She has been an indoor cat her whole life. Please consider our girl if your home is looking for a quiet companion.
