Story
Homer, or Homie as he's affectionately known as, is an absolute troublemaker. He has two speeds: sleeping in the most ridiculous positions or throwing his oversized body around like a wrecking ball. His favorite artist is Miley Cyrus since he always comes in like a wrecking ball. He lives and breathes for catnip and that's truly the way to his heart. He thinks human affection is just so-so but likes to be around people. His favorite time to receive attention from you is while you are using your computer, by standing directly on your keyboard. If he were a human, he'd be an introvert who wants to be invited to social events but always declines going to them. He does have a history of overgrooming which has greatly improved since he's now semi-free range. He would likely do fine with big dogs in a household but he can be a real bully to smaller creatures.

Story
Larry is in a foster home!Meet Larry! (very shy at first) He's the chillest of the chill cats. He always looks like he's half-blinking because he is consistently one blink away from a nap. He loves other cats and is in our communal cat room currently. He is a thicc boy who enjoys booty and chin scratches. He will act as a secret admirer initially and will yodel lovingly until he has your attention. When you're not looking, he'll sneak up and rub on your leg. He is an easy cat and would do well in most homes as long as he gets the attention he deserves. He is the king of making biscuits!Since he is in a foster home, please submit an application on our website www.souldog.org under the adopt tab if you’re interested in Larry NM. Someone will be in touch with you for next steps!

Story
Nimporio is always the first to greet her humans as they walk through the door, often with a great big hello and a demand for pets. Nimporio has been without a loving home for a very long time, so while she clearly craves the love and attention a home provides, she sometimes gets a little over stimulated and has to take a break between pet sessions. She loves to flop down and have her side pet but sudden movements can have her retreating, slow and steady will win this girls heart. I can absolutely see Nimporio as being a cuddly girl once she gains confidence and has plenty of time to come around at her own pace. Nim is still extremely cautious of unknown individuals, but is trying to learn how to trust her humans and the progress shows. Coming from a hoarding house, Nim has never been without a feline friend and can get rather lonely if by herself, so she will thrive with another cat. She currently lives with her bestie, Mystical, who is also available for adoption and is often found playing with her or headbutting her friend on the cat cam. She is affectionate when she wants some love, and is quite talkative. She is very polite with her teeth and claws and likes her feet planted firmly on the ground. Nim is curious about the dogs and gives no reaction to their presence, I think she might even appreciate a calmer canine friend. She would likely do well in a quiet household with other animals and her favorite humans to keep her company. Nim is one of the most talkative fosters I’ve had and I’m loving it! She is incredibly intuitive and empathetic. I can see that she has a great capacity to be the soul animal to another and seems to understand what I’m saying to her. She is a cautious girl but I know she wants to be loved and give love above all else. Give her a chance and some time, you will not regret it. A little about Nimporio: - I can feel the need for love coming from Nim, but she has a hard time expressing this need and has not come accustomed to what that may look like. But she is improving every day!- She likes to scratch the water bowl whenever she is drinking so her water habits have gotten a little messy.- I’ve found that she is scared to be in big open places by herself and is nervous when a new room is open to her.- Nims happiest moments are when she is sunbathing with her bestie by her side, her human showering her with occasional attention, and a window to watch life outside. She does not need much and would be happy to finally have a home full of peace and love.
