I adopted Sammie from PetSmart in January of 2020 and she was a baby kitten. We have taken good care of her. She is spayed and chipped. However, I have discovered that myself and two of my children are allergic. My husband is not happy with the cat and this has caused an issue in our marriage. He has many complaints about having a cat. Also, we have a small older dog. The cat bullies the dog a bit, not anything serious, but she pounces on her and blocks her path, etc. She is not interested in the kids and does not cuddle them the same way that she cuddles me. She follows me everywhere and wants to be next to me always. I wish she was like that with the kids, but she is not. Because of the allergies, marital issues, and a few other reasons, I cannot keep the cat. I need to restore peace in my home. PLEASE HELP. I want to ensure that someone who loves cats can take her and be a good fit. She is a sweet cat and deserves love and companionship.

Leo is about 2 years old and became a house cat about 8 months ago when he was found injured. His foster parents rescued him and lovingly brought him back to health (and had him neutered) and he has been staying with them since. However, the other cats in the home have not taken kindly to the new addition, and so Leo needs a family of his own. Leo is a tidy boy, using the litter box perfectly and loves to be brushed and pampered. He is friendly and affectionate and will be a wonderful companion. He would probably do best as an only cat. Leo will be adopted directly from his fosters and the adopter will be responsible for bringing him up to date on testing and vaccines. Baby is a young boy who loves to cuddle! He showed up in a feral colony this month and was trapped and neutered immediately, but when it came time to put him back outside, he didn't want to go! Before winding up on the streets, he was clearly a house pet as he is litter box trained and loves to snuggle with humans. He is gentle and loving. The vet thinks he is about 1 year old. He is already tested (negative) and vaccinated. We do not know how he would do with other cats or dogs. Baby is ready for a home that will love him forever and will always have a place for him inside their home. Chesed Rescue will be accepting and processing applications for Baby, but he will be adopted directly from his current home. No adoption fee (though donations to the rescue are always appreciated). Lewis is an inquisitive, funny and sweet boy, who loves his brother Elliot (another cat) and his dog sister, Lilly. He loves to be picked up to watch the ice machine on the fridge dispense ice and he loves playing patty cake with his mommy through the shower curtain. He also loves to be held like a baby and get his back scratched when Mommy is working. Both Lewis and Elliot were stray kittens taken from their feral mommy way too early by someone their mommy knew. They both have had all of their kitten shots and are on a preventative flee, tick, and heart worm medicine. They just lost their human Daddy due to cancer and now their human Mommy has to move across the country and can’t take them with her. Lewis is a sweet sweet boy and his Mommy will miss him so much!

Boo was a stray kitten rescue that approached a co-worker of mine and took him into my workplace. They asked if I could foster him since I already had a cat pet and I agreed. Boo is now 1 and a half years old. He’s very friendly, affectionate, cuddly and playful! He’s gotten along very well with my other cat. He hasn’t been around dogs or kids so I’m unsure how he’d act around them, but as long as they’re gentle then I’m sure it’ll be mutual. He’s neutered, microchipped, and vax’d. Vet records can be emailed upon request. He really is a great and friendly cat. Unfortunately I cannot keep him forever as my landlord does not permit more than 1 pet, and I’ve experienced heavy financial and maintenance burdens with handling two cats that my current income cannot keep up with, so I’m coerced into giving him away. I hope to find him preferably a clean home to a loving couple or family who’ll take great care of him.
