Story
I'm a true gentleman, a lover of the quiet life, and a master of mellow. Sharing a home with my brother, Atticus, has made me an expert in social graces and sharing, so I get along well with others. While I might not be the first to start the party, I'm always the first to greet you at the door. After a few pets, my sweet and mellow side takes over. My soft purring will fill the air as I gently nudge your hand with my paws and give you a head butt to ask for more attention. Don't worry, I'm well-behaved and respectful of your furniture and personal items are safe with me. My favorite toys are catnip-filled scratchers, feathers, and stuffed toys. I'm also happy just to lay beside you, a gentle companion through and through. I'm also a foodie, so food on demand makes me the happiest gentleman you'll ever meet. I prefer fresh water on stainless steel fountains, you can call me a hydration expert. I'm an all-night sleeper who finds comfort with a soft nightlight. My brother Atticus and I are very similar in our nature, with one key difference: designated observer and I'm the investigator. Charming, sweet and lovable, I am always happy to see you. Remember adopting a pet is a lifelong commitment!

Story
Hello! My name is Kraken, and I’m a sweet young adult cat, around 4 years old, with handsome light gray fur. I originally came from Okeechobee, but I traveled all the way to Jupiter in hopes of finding a loving family to call my own. I enjoy getting pets, love attention, and I’ve been very friendly with the other cats here at the shelter. I’m an easygoing guy and I’m all ready to head home with a family who will appreciate a gentle companion like me. Now, I do want to share something important about myself: I am FIV positive. This means the virus may weaken my immune system over time, making me more susceptible to certain illnesses. But don’t worry, many cats like me live long, happy, and perfectly normal lives with regular veterinary care, a stress free indoor lifestyle, and a family who loves them. FIV can’t spread to humans or other animals, and it’s not easily passed to other cats unless there are serious bite wounds. In a calm indoor home with friendly, sterilized cats, transmission is very unlikely. With love, safety, and a place to call home, I can thrive just like any other cat. I promise to bring joy, companionship, personality, and plenty of purrs to your life.

Story
Meet Perseus, a shy little black kitten with big, curious eyes and a heart full of potential! Though she's still learning that the world isn't as scary as the world of Greek myth and monsters she's named after, Perseus is slowly discovering the joys of new experiences and the warmth of a loving home! She may be cautious at first, but with gentle patience and reassurance, she’s beginning to trust that everything will be okay! Perseus is a soft and sweet soul who thrives in quiet moments. Once she feels safe, though, her playful and loving nature begins to shine through. With time, Perseus will blossom into a confident and loyal companion, and she's looking for a patient person to help her take those first brave steps into the world!
